The video shows what the filters collected in the filter basket from cleaning my pool floor; and the photo is the same filter basket after I sprayed that gunk out with a hose. I bought these in 2024 for my Dolphin Cayman Robotic Pool Vacuum. These filters are a MUST HAVE for your Cayman if you have dirt or algae growing on your pool floor because they keep all those tiny dirt and algae particles inside the basket. The filters that actually came with my robot aren’t fine enough to keep those tiny particles inside the filter basket. Instead, it would vacuum up the dirt and algae and spit it out the back, causing nasty cloudy, dirty pool water. These “nano” filters stop that from happening. They are easy to install and I was worried they wouldn’t fit my Cayman Robot but they do—you just have to remove a couple screws, change the filter walls, and put the screws back in place. Also, I think it should be mentioned that these filters are easy to clean. I spray my filter basket out with a hose after every use and it takes about 30 seconds to get all 4 filter walls clean. I highly recommend these filters for the Dolphin Cayman Robotic Pool Vacuum. They’ve survived a full summer and 3 uses this season, and are still going strong.

Impressed. Now, I’ll admit that these are a bit harder to clean than the original screen filters. But….these definitely work better. We tend to get fine silt and other dirt particles sitting on the bottom and this helped. These help pick up finer material and lock it inside the pleated material. It made a difference for our pebbletec surface pool.

Micro filters are a must have on any pool cleaner, they should just be standard . Works great and worth the price

Works really well for vacuuming out the small particles, but it was more difficult to assemble than what we thought it would be. Definitely not just a pop in and go deal.

Exact fit

The Dolphin pool cleaner filters are exactly what I ordered; they are genuine Dolphin filters.

These filters are great, and have really improved the cleanliness of my pool since installing in my Dolphin. But I didn't realize when I ordered that the old fine filter basket was assembled with screws. So it's not simply a matter of dropping these in after your heavy matter cleaning. You have to disassemble the bucket entirely to reset the filter back and forth. Given that the price difference is only $10 between a basket + filters, and the filters themselves, I'd recommend just buying a whole second basket. Then you could run a cleaning after a storm with the debris filter, then another cycle with the algae filter with a simple swap. That's what I'll be doing when it's time to replace these.

If you have fine sand or dirt in the pool that bypasses your filter, these filters will capture it! My pool is crystal clear now!
