Great feel and performance for Pickleball.
I originally purchased and wore the K-Swiss pickleball shoes. The K-Swiss felt very toe heavy and like I was wearing lead weights and had zero cushioning between my foot and the soles of the shoe. After a few months of wearing those I had to find something more comfortable and easier on my knees. I prefer light weight running shoes but they wear out quickly on the court surface. I decided to try the Sketchers and am very happy with the comfort and court performance so far. Right away they felt lighter and the arch support and cushioning were considerably better than the K-Swiss which IMO have none of that. I wear a 14 and my shoes are typically big and heavy. While these only came in just under an ounce lighter than the K-Swiss, the weight is more evenly distributed throughout the shoe and they felt much lighter than expected. I can’t speak to longevity but, the price is reasonable and much lower compared to other pickleball shoes I have found online. Certainly less expensive than the K-Swiss which I clearly wouldn’t recommend. Overall I like the look and comfort these provide. These held up and stuck to the tennis court surface just fine with no marking, squeaking or excessive wear that I have read about on other reviews. If I only get a few months out of them so be it. Better than months of extra knee pain and discomfort wearing the K-Swiss. I would recommend these based on my experience and will update if that changes. *** UPDATE*** Played for about a week now, indoor and outdoor. Glad to say the shoes are holding up just fine, no noticeable wear on the soles from the tennis court surface or toes cracking and looking worn out like i saw in another review. They played very well indoor on a basketball court as well. Still would highly recommend. ****Update**** It’s been about 3-4 months of solid play 2-4 times a week typically 2-5 hours at a time plus one tournament. So far these have held up, no cracks and barely any noticeable wear on the soles and I’ve played the majority of my PB on a newly surfaced tennis court. I’m looking at buying the new version more so for the color and style, these still fit and feel good, just that bright yellow really stands out somedays. Still very much recommended and definitely would recommend over the K-Swiss.

A super comfortable court shoe
Sketchers Pickleball shoes are a game-changer for pickleball players. The shoes are designed with the unique demands of pickleball in mind, and they deliver on every front. From the moment I slipped on these shoes, I was impressed by the level of comfort and support they provide. The cushioned insole and supportive upper offer a secure fit that doesn't sacrifice mobility. The non-marking sole has excellent grip, giving me the confidence to make quick, aggressive moves on the court. I was also pleasantly surprised by how durable these shoes are. After several intense pickleball games, they still look and feel as good as new. The shoe's design is stylish and modern, and I've received several compliments on them from my fellow pickleballers. Overall, I highly recommend the Sketchers Pickleball shoes to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and stylish shoe for pickleball. They are the perfect combination of form and function, and they have exceeded all of my expectations. Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or just starting out, these shoes will help take your game to the next level.

Super comfy, less foot pain - very wide as described
I play pickleball for about 8 hours a week, and am competitive in my age group and with younger players - about 4.0. These are my first Skecher pickleball shoes - and I liked them enough to get another pair. I ordered 10 extra wide - and unlike some shoes that claim to be wide--- these really are! I have high arches, and years of tennis/racquetball/hiking/etc. have killed my feet, leaving me prone to foot pain. These have signficantly helped with my foot pain. The one downside is a slightly less than "dialed in" fit - between the shoe shape/width/etc, there is just a little bit of wiggle, but going down a half size would probably make them too snug. Anyway - I am confident again in running for balls, stopping on a dime and changing directions with good grip and less foot fatigue/pain.

Good for Pickleball on a wood gym floor!
I play Pickleball with these 4 or 5 times a week! Good traction and fit fine. I change at the gym to keep the soles clean. Comfortable for me.

Good indoor court shoe, so far.
Good fit and support. I have only worn these for indoor pickleball, so far. Feet don’t hurt after a couple of hours of play. Traction is good on wood and concrete floors, a little less good on tile floors. I really don’t think about them during play, so I believe they are serving my purpose well. Will have to wait until spring to find out what they are like outdoors. Update: After having these for a year and a couple months, they have begun to break down and split along sole/side at the toe on both shoes. The sole has lost most of its tread at the ball of the foot. The insole has worn down in the heel and ball of the foot to the point of providing no cushion. I have worn these three or four times a week, indoors and outdoors. The traction is great outdoors, good on tile and less than desirable on one wood gym floor. I may research and try another shoe, but may be just as happy to buy another pair of these.

Best pickleball shoes I've tried
I play pickleball 3-5 days a week for a couple of hours each time and I have sore feet (Bunions and other issues). I'm unwilling to stop so I've tried probably 6-7 different brands of shoes and these are by far the best for my feet (size 14 regular width). The arch support and overall fit is excellent and comfortable. Do I still hurt after 3 hours of play? Yes, a but but I'm not limping around the next day like I used to be, so that is a win. I bought a second pair right away because my size is hard to find.

Internal lining wear problem
I’ve now gone through 2 pair of this exact shoe. I play pickleball 3-4 days a week during the colder months on a gym floor. In both pair, I found the lining inside the shoes wore out at the big toe after 1 year. I mean it was a sizeable hole. I’ve also found my heels would hurt after playing. I believe this is due to early onset plantar fasciitis. I’ve never had this condition previously. I inserted a Dr Sholes Gel insert. That covered up the toe hole, but didn’t help with the heel pain. I switched to bearefeet shoes…Gossimer model. A lot of people think these look like “wet sock” water shoes, as there is very little to the shoe. This new shoes has much greater grip and doesn’t slide around on a dust covered gym floor. The heel pain went away for a while, but it is back, so I continue my search for a shoe that works for me and I’m also seeking the counsel of a Physical Therapist to get the Plantar Fasciitis under control. Hope you find this review helpful. I’m not saying the shoe caused the Plantar Fasciitis…clearly I’m using the feet way more than I did at the office, but I do believe there might be a shoe out there that’s better for me. Happy hunting!

2 1/2 months. 30 hours a week. 175 lbs . Pretty decent shoe. Good support. Comfortable.
Only played 2 hours so far. They appear to be very well made. Craftsmanship , good, materials excellent! Would highly recommend. If they fall apart in 3 months I will give another update. 2 1/2 month update . With photos. I’m 173 . play 3o hours a week. Tread holding up well. Fabric starting to tear on sides, I put a flexible glue to prevent more rips in fabric. Would definitely buy again for $59 not sure I would buy for $109

IN less than 20 days the base is coming out. I will try to stick it, but let’s see.
