Brings new life to my beloved wooden kitchen implements after being damaged in dishwasher
I found out my kid had been throwing all the wooden stuff into the dishwasher, even though I had told him not to – surprise, surprise. Anyways, I bought this, hoping to restore them because some of these are great utensils that I love and use pretty regularly. I am so impressed with the quality, and the ingredients. I’m glad there is an alternative to using cooking or olive oil – I’m not sure if it’s the properties of coconut oil, but this soaks and so well and leaves such a beautiful luster. It is very easy to apply and spread – a little goes a long way so this is definitely worth the price you pay. In fact, it’s the same as I pay for another chef grade oil product. I have been using on my stainless steel. There is no residue and I can tell how thirsty my wood is when I apply it – it soaks right in and how good staying power. Very happy with how well it works. We are working towards being a non-toxic household, so I’m also very pleased with these ingredients, including the all natural pure essential oil which smell amazing but is quite light. My daughter is sensitive to scents, as she could not detect any. I used the cutting board later for chopping vegetables. Since then, I have done some research into the brand and I am so proud to support a family owned, first responder owned, US based company. I can’t wait to use this on my expensive charcuterie boards and other pieces of display wood – will be sure to post an update when I do.

Works good!
The product is good, but the bottle came with the cover nut all the way on so about a third of the oil was leaked out all over the box

Perfect projects
excellent product! I used the Scotch cutting board oil on all my wooden boards and butcher blocks, and it brought them back to life. The wood looks rich and hydrated again, and it really helps protect against drying and cracking. Super easy to apply, no strong odor, and it leaves a beautiful, smooth finish. Definitely a must-have for keeping your boards looking new!

Magic wood oil
It’s like some magical potion for wood, I live up here in Alaska and do a lot of yellow cedar carving. I’ve used tons of products from wax to oil at first I was hesitant to buy this product, but after reading the reviews, I could not resist after further use of the product I’m completely convinced. This is one of the best out there.
