Absolutely beautiful! I purchased this large "In The Forest" Fox bowl in cream as a special treat for myself and am very pleased! It's light enough for this 72 year old to hold it, but sturdy, so it will last a long time! I've since ordered more to complete the set and replace all my old thrift store finds that I've had for my entire adult life! The little fox is adorable and whimsical, and two days after the bowl was delivered, a little red fox ran through my back yard!!! I've never seen one in my 20 years here! I'll take that as a special sign of fun baking times ahead!

There was a time when the name Mason Cash meant quality. I remember how heavy and sturdy their bowls used to be, how mothers would pass down their bowls after years of heavy use, so when this bowl arrived I was surprised by how light it was. But I reminded myself that it was still a Mason Cash bowl and I trusted it was still a quality product. However, it has been less than two months, almost exactly 7 weeks since receiving this bowl and today it was barely bumped in the sink and a chip came off the interior rim. The chip was smooth and the bowl side is smooth, as if there was a pre-existing defect. This is definitely not the sturdy workhorse of previous days. However, perhaps this isn’t a manufacturer issue. I am concerned that part of the problem may actually be the seller, and here is why. I wanted to purchase a set of “In the Forest” bowls, but couldn't find one seller/store that had all the sizes/colors I wanted. So, I ended buying two on Amazon from the seller Everything Kitchens, two directly from Everything Kitchens' retail website, and one from Wayfair. One of the bowls from Everything Kitchens’ retail site arrived with obvious defects. When I contacted them they replaced it right away. But what are the chances that two out of four bowls from the same seller would have issues? It makes me wonder if the seller is selling “factory seconds” without stating this is the case. I am not accusing Everything Kitchens of this, but I am uncomfortable enough that I will not be purchasing anything from them in the future.
