The platform you stand on or put packages on to weigh is not stable. It wobbles.

Good sturdy and works as advertised.

I’ve had this scale for 2 years and I’ve been meaning to write a review. After 3 months, it just stopped powering on. It’s been a paperweight since. Will buy a name brand next time. Update: I finally put it out where it belongs.

This scale isn't as large as it looks in the image of the woman at the farmer's market stand. That image is not to scale. The platform is around 16" x 20", and it folds when not in use to allow it to be easily stored. It's accurate, and while it's ideal for weighing packages and items sold by weight, it also makes an excellent luggage scale for frequent travelers. I got a weight of 30.08lbs when I weighed a bag to be checked. The Delta counter registered it as exactly 30lbs. It's so very accurate and sensitive though that the last few numbers will often fluctuate from slight vibrations in the floor, so keep that in mind. The minimum weight that will register is 2 kilos. It converts between pounds and kilos easily, and also has a tare feature. There aren't wheels on the base like on some other industrial scales, but there are leveling feet instead. The powder coating is good with no chips or spaces with exposed steel, and all the welds on the one I received are done well. It's sturdy, easy to use with intuitive functions and overall, just a well made scale. The problem is the power cord - it's so short. Like, less than 6' long. It's the sort of cord that would power a set of bluetooth speakers, not what I'd expect for an industrial scale. You've got to keep it incredibly close to an outlet to get a reading. Otherwise, no complaints.

Nuts were missing to install safety bar - thought a trip to the hardware store would fix that but nothing in stock fit. Also control panel was dented to the point we could only attach two of the four screws. The unit is working but disappointed based on the price point.
