Great supplemental heater
We purchased one in 2020 for a small bathroom. I had had a space heater in there previously but wanted something safer that took up less space. This heater ran pretty much non-stop during the fall/winter months of 2021 and 2022 (and on chilly summer nights as well). Just recently the toggle on/off switch stopped working. My husband wrote Econo-home to see if they could send us a replacement switch. Customer service person Ella said that if it was in warranty (3 years) she would send us a new one instead. We sent her the invoice and within a few days we had a new heater. Can't beat that for customer service! We like these so much that we purchased two more for the office and bedroom. They are energy efficient, and if you want a thermostat, you can purchase that separately. We just use the on/off toggle switch. They are 250 Watts, so don't throw off a blasting heat, but more gradually warm the space. Do they emit an odor when they are first used? Yes, but over time and depending upon use, this dissipates. If you have sensitivities to smells, you may want to use a different type of heater instead. However, we love these wall-mounted panels - they are great to supplement a small space in a safer manner than using a typical space heater. Heat is gradual, and works best when on for the better part of the day. It's not a replacement for your heating system, but great to take the chill off. We love them!

5 stars, take it with a grain of salt.
For a small room & for the fact they are fanless convection heaters, they are great little units. Very good close proximity heat in a small room like my pictures, takes 5 minutes to be noticeably warm when standing in front of them. Keep in mind I have two 250 watt models, it takes about 20-40 minutes to start warming a small room VERY well with a partially closed door. Our bathroom is 5’ wide by 14’ deep, by 7’ tall. HOWEVER, install can easily turn into a nightmare. The plastic threads are crappy & way out of tolerance. This is a big problem if you are installing purely on drywall & not off studs. When you twist your end caps on, it is extremely easy to accidentally twist the whole pin that is mounted in your drywall. Which reams a big hole in the drywall making your mount almost worthless. TRUST ME, I do construction, they are VERY delicate wall mounts. ESPECIALLY if you do not position them perfectly with the panel holes. I HIGHLY recommend having someone hold the panel on the wall, & mark your holes. DO NOT USE THE PAPER TEMPLATE THEY SEND, it’s way off. If you do not position those pins perfectly, you DO NOT have the chance to move them over an 1/8 of an inch or more. Worse comes to worse, take everything off, get a strong fiber spackle, fill all your holes WELL, take a break & try again tomorrow when it’s dried. Don’t pull out your hair. Also if your holes are slightly oblong like 1 of mine, the panel will chip off a bit of its “spackle-like” material. Similar to if your pins aren’t perfect to the holes on the panel, having to force the panel into the pins will likely chip the panel more, check my pictures. It’s not a huge deal, just put any generic white caulking over the chipped spots. Remember, it’s a $89.00 fanless, red hot coil-less, splashproof, convection heater. Overall, 5 stars for that, install is a royal pain though beware.

Did not heat as described
The heater got hot but it only heated the wall behind it which kinda scared me so I had to return it… they did immediately refund my money but I was very hopeful that it would work well in my very small bathroom it looked good on the wall and all of that but it didn’t. Maine I got a faulty one or something but either way not satisfied.

Low profile, effective, but it does smell randomly
I put this into a little powder room and it keeps it toasty. I painted it to match the walls and it looks nice. Mounting hardware was decent -- one screw would not go in straight and looks wonky. In the beginning the room would randomly smell but after accidentally leaving it going full blast while on vacation, that seems to have burned off whatever it was. Gets very hot to the touch. It claims it won't burn your skin but I really don't understand how that works. There are cheaper space heaters, but I really like this one because it fits next to the sink and blends in with the wall and isn't ugly.

The smell is real, but it will burn off
I've installed this 250W unit as an under-desk heater (see pic) on a sometimes cold exterior wall here in Seattle. I have a fairly acute sense of smell, so I was worried about the reviews that complained of a horrible off-gassing. They were not wrong! Anticipating a burn-off period, I plugged this unit in and left it on in an unused and ventilated space. The burn-off smell was reminiscent of plasticized cow dung, at least that's what my brain says :-). The good news is that the smell is unnoticeable after about two days of off-gassing. So... not a bad idea to plug your unit in *somewhere else* and let it burn-in for a couple days. I've given the unit 5 stars for now but will update this review if it fails too quickly, or is otherwise unsatisfactory. Note for the energy conscious: this unit is a resistive heater and will have essentially the same efficiency as any other fan-less resistive heating unit you might buy. Typical home space heaters max out at 1500Watts. This small 250W unit puts out only 1/6 of the heat that a 1500W unit will, just math. If you want more heat for less energy you need to investigate heat pumps .

Tarda en calentar la pieza. Hay que cerrar la puerta

No calienta mucho, no tiene un termómetro para saber a que temperatura esta.

No genera calor.
