Definitely helps keep the controllers safe. We have hit a table or dresser a time or two by accident with the oculus controllers and had to replace a controller that got cracked. Since having these on the controllers, we haven’t had any more incidents.

My little brother likes to play games where you have to run and punch and he's quite wild with his movements, he also wants as much room as possible to play so he sets his boundaries WAY too close to the wall and other objects, regardless of how many times we tell him not to. He's broken one controller already, splitting the Halo in half when he accidentally punched the corner of a wall. After paying $70 to replace that controller, I purchased these Halo protectors. They fit very well and look nice. I myself have an occulus and have a silicone protector that essentially covers as much of the controller as possible, and he HATES using my controllers because of where the silicone is on the handle. These halo protectors don't bother him because they're not on a part of the controller that he touches. Since putting them on, he had the wrist strap break, allowing the controller to fly out of his hand, into the wall, sending the battery cover and batteries 10 ft in different directions, but the halo remained unharmed.

These are a soft silicone material that fits well. Doesn’t seem like there’s any interference. Good for the price and small bonus that they have two different colored stripes at the top to help differentiate left and right.

So these are awesome. I never liked some of the halo protectors that are thick and bulky. So these are perfect. Thin but too thin and hold onto the halo firmly. No loss in tracking. I’ve had VR headset for several years now and only broke one controller. But I hit the headset sometimes with beat saber so this protector is perfect to protect the headset and controller by cushioning the impact. AMVR does it again. Thanks for another great product.
