This book is one of the best for scripture study. It is a clear description of how the Holy Spirit works in us. The author explains how Nehemiah’s work was a walking example of the Holy Spirit’s work in us. Helped me understand what the Holy Spirit means personally.

Jack Hayford’s writings are timeless. So grateful this is still available to us. Applies throughout our lives - all the seasons. Thank you Jack!

What I like about this book is that is inspiring and help you understand that in the process of rebuilding our city, "Everyone counts". The book of Nehemiah gives a narrative of how the people of God were given a new lease of life and the journey they had to go through to demonstrate evidence of the renewal of their new life. It seems that they always failed and they were emberrased. In the book of Nehemiah also shows you exactly how God wants his church to be holy and to be ready. Nehemiah in the book he is a representation of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes christians we think that our walls need to be rebuild and that is the most important part. Our gates are the most important part because the gates represent the gates of our hearts. Lets guard our hearts we need to be guarding our hearts; so God can use us in a powerful way to help others to love others to heal people. We can't stop building our walls, we have to finish we have to be ready for the coming of our Lord Jesus even if people mock us or make fun of us. We can do it by the power of our Lord Jesus. We do not have a Nehemiah today, we have a powerful weapon, "The very presence of the Holy Spirit" Jesus said that in His name we could do bigger things, because He is sitting at the right hand of the Father. This book is a weak up call for me. I encourage you to read it and renew your life too. You are not alone. You can do it!

Pastor-Teacher Jack Hayford's teachings are so accurate and inspired that they never disappoint the reader who is hungry for a living God. Brother Jack lives on a fresh anointing every day and it is to our benefit to be able to absorb it on a daily basis. It is easy enough to understand to the comparative beginner, but challenging enough to make the reader hungry after more manna tomorrow. I am grateful to the Spirit Filled Bible, so much so that I felt compelled to give my most recent edition to a young soldier going off to war in Afghanistan for a 3 year tour. both are great publications to study and to share.

Nehemiah is one of my favorite books of the Bible. So practical for everyday life. Jack Hayford’s take on it blew me away. The parallels are so easy to see and apply in my life. Wow great read.

I loved this book, it shares a great bible story from the book of Neamiah and how the holy spirit will rebuild, reshape and heal your past. Jack's insight is awesome!

My Bible study group is using this for our own study currently and discussing what we learn by chapter. It also reinforces why a ministry I belong to to help with our individual inner healing and growth and maturity as Christians so we can fulfill God’s individual plan and purpose for us is vital.

I can’t even begin to tell you how good this book is. Every page is practical and sound application of the Word of God directly to your soul. The Holy Spirit will rebuild and strengthen you as you read this book. You will learn how Satan works and how no matter how persistently He shows up in your life, God is greater, using the Holy Spirit to protect us. You don’t have to argue with the devil or be entrapped by him. You can fully resist him. I have never read such a practical book before that explains how God works in the life of a believer.

There is nothing more important than to partner with Holy Spirit and to do the Father's will and to be made whole and complete such as our Lord, Master and Judge, Jesus, the Son of God is made perfect.

Excellent book that I first purchased about 35 years ago. It parallels the rebuilding of the broken walls of Jerusalem by Nehemiah (which means comforting breath of God) to the Holy Spirit rebuilding our broken lives. For me it was a life changing book. It is still very relevant today,
