The MOTUKA black suede headliner fabric is excellent quality. The micro-suede feels soft and premium, and the foam backing provides great support and easy installation. It was perfect for my car headliner replacement and worked well for DIY use. Cuts cleanly, adheres nicely, and looks professional once installed. Highly recommend!

THIS PRODUCT DID A GREAT JOB FOR REPAIRING MY OLD HEADLINERS THAT WERE HANGING LOOSE AND/OR TORN. USED THIS MATERIAL FOR REPAIRING THE OLD HEADLINERS IN THREE VEHICLES SO FAR. 1989 JEEP CHEROKEE LAREDO 4DR, 1991 LINCOLN TOWN CAR, 1993 CHEVY SILVERADO Z71. BE SURE TO ORDER A LARGE ENOUGH PIECE TO HAVE EXCESS TO TRIM AND FOLD OVER THE EDGES. AFTER GETTING THE HEADLINERS REMOVED OUT OF THE CARS, THE WORK WAS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD. CLEAN OFF ALL THE OLD LINER FORM FROM THE CARS BACKER BOARD, I USED A HAND WIRE BRUSH WITH THE BACKING BOARDS ON TEMPORARY TABLE MADE FROM A PIECE OF PLYWOOD ON SAW HORSES, THAT WORK GOOD FOR ME. OPEN UP THE NEW FABRIC AND LET IT SET IN THE SUN, OR GOOD WARM ROOM TO GET RID OF ANY FOLD LINES IF PRESENT. THE NEW FABRIC THAT CAME ON A ROLL DIDN'T HAVE THAT PROBLEM. LAY THE FABRIC ON THE CLEANED BOARD SO IT HANGS OVER ALL EDGES. SPRAY ON A GOOD QUALITY CONTACT CEMENT LIKE 3M OR SUCH, TO BOTH THE BOARD AND MATERIAL, I DID IT A HALF AT A TIME, WORKING FROM CENTER TO FRONT WITH LINER FOLDED IN HALF OVER ITSELF, AND WORKING IT ON BY RUNNING MY HAND DOWN CENTER LINE FROM CENTER TO FRONT OR BACK A QUARTER OF THE FRONT OR BACK HALF OF THE FULL HEADLINER SECTION I WAS WORKING, AND OUT TO EDGES GENTLY AS I PULLED THE MATERIAL JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM WRINKLING. GOTTA BE CAREFUL HOW YOU LAY IT DOWN AS CONTACT CEMENT STICKS RIGHT AWAY AND IT WILL BE DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX ANY LARGER WRINKLES. AFTER IT IS GLUED DOWN, GO BACK OVER IT AGAIN AND PRESS IT DOWN WELL WITH SEMI FIRM PRESSURE TO BE SURE IT IS GLUED FIRMLY TO THE HEADBOARD. THEN MAKE YOUR TRIM CUTS AROUND THE OUTER EDGES SO YOU CAN FOLD OVER +/- 1 TO 2 INCHES TO THE BACKSIDE OF THE HEADBOARD. MAKE TRIANGLE CUTOUTS TO THE HIDDEN SIDE OF THE FOAM TO WORK AROUND THE CURVED EDGES, JUST DON'T OVER CUT SO YOU DON'T HAVE CUT LINES THAT SHOW ON THE INTERIOR SIDE WHEN DONE. SPRAY ON BOTH FOAM AND BACKER BOARD AND PRESS INTO PLACE. FINISH BY MAKING ANY CUTOUTS NEEDED FOR INTERIOR LIGHTS OR WHATEVER, AGAIN LAPPING AROUND ALL SIDES OF YOUR HOLES AND CONTACT CEMENTING TO BACK SIDE AS DONE AROUND THE OUTER EDGES. JUST REVERSE THE ORDER YOU USED TO TAKE THE UNIT OUT OF YOUR VEHICLE TO RE-INSTALL THE COMPLETED UNIT BACK IN FINAL POSITION. REALLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHEN DONE. NO MORE HEADLINER HANGING DOWN ON YOUR HEAD, OR ALL THE GROSS LOOKING PINS TACKING UP IF YOU TRIED THAT. A FINAL THOUGH, BE SURE TO HAVE PLENTY OF THE CONTACT SPRAY ON HAND, YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD EVEN COAT THAT GIVES PROPER HOLDING POWER, YOU DON'T WANT IT PULLING LOOSE AND HANGING DOWN AGAIN. I SPRAYED ON ENOUGH SO I COULD SEE A COVERING MUCH LIKE I HAD A SOLID THICK PAINT COVERING WITH NO GAPS, BUT NOT OVERDONE TO A POINT IT WOULD SOAK THROUGH THE FABRIC. I PLACE MORE ON THE HARD BOARD THAN THE FABRIC, A GOOD EVEN COAT ON THE FABRIC WITHOUT SOAKING IS WHAT YOU WANT. WHEN YOU PUSH THE FABRIC ON WITH YOUR HAND, YOU DON'T WANT IT TO FEEL WET OR SLIPPING AROUND. PRACTICE ON SOME SCRAP TO GET THE FEEL IF UNSURE. YOU DON'T WANT TO RUN OUT OF SPRAY IN THE MIDDLE OF YOU WORK, MUCH EASIER TO DO THE WORK CONTINUOUSLY THAN HAVING TO RUN DOWN TO THE STORE IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR WORK. I GOT 5 CANS TO BE SURE, EXCESS CAN ALWAYS BE USED FOR SOMETHING ELSE SOMEDAY. BEEN IN PLACE FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS NOW WITH NO PROBLEMS. I WAS KIND OF INTIMIDATED FIRST TIME, BUT WATCHED SOME FOLKS DO IT ON U-TUBE, AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. GLAD I DID. U-TUBE IS REALLY GOOD FOR INSTRUCTION, JUST BE SURE TO CHECK OUT SEVERAL FOLKS, SOME OF THEM DON'T HAVE A CLUE, OTHERS ARE SUPER INSTRUCTORS. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE OUT.

My 18 year old son put this in his car and it looks SO good. The quality and feel is nearly identical to what is in my 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe with the Calligraphy trim. He put this in over 8 weeks ago in his car and it hasn't sagged. Installation technique is important. This product alone is great quality, thick and easy to work with and install if you have patience, the proper tools, and have prepped your headliner.

Just as the headline said, Great Price! Especially for the size I needed (118" L x 60" for a 2012 Cadillac Escalade**NOT ESV or EXT**) Great product as in the material looks and feels awesome, but most importantly, definitely installer friendly! I work on all parts of different vehicles for a living, but I don't consider myself an upholsterer by any means, but this product material would make you think otherwise.The ONLY FLAW to this amazing product was the fact that they DO SHIP it in a box and YES there WILL BE creases in the throughout the material. I waited until summer to do this project for this reason, because on a nice hot day I laid it out outside and let the sun do its thing and most of the creases were gone. So whatever creases that were left, I smoothed them out during the installation and still no signs of any ever being there. I Highly Recommend this product for any headliner project!

Overall pretty happy. It looks good. Plenty of material was supplied to get the job done on my extended cab sierra. A peice of advice that I learned the hard way. When cutting the new material to match the headliner she’ll, don’t cut it to the exact dimensions of the shell. Make it about 1/2 inch wider on all sides. Extra material on the edges can be pushed underneath your interior peices and be easily hidden. If you cut it right on the edge of the shell, you’ll end up with the same problem as me. See pictures. The product itself is great.

Good product. Only complaint is it comes folded so making sure to get creases out is the only issue. Worked well and had plenty to do what I needed.

I absolutely love this material! Brought to do the headliner on my 2010 VW Passat (those who know...). It was just the right amount for my saloon model, with a little spare afterwards. It does come folded, however came out well using a steamer. Overall I love how smart it makes the inside look, and is addictive to feel also!

So easy to work with, do need two large cans of adhesive to get it to stick especially for a bmw but well worth it 👌🏻 looks really good too

Good material, car sky looks amazing now, black fabric is very sturdy and hard to damage, was even hard to cut at some point. Would highly recommend it.
