Absolute garbage. Glows very bright...... for a couple minutes, then PFFFFFFFTTTTTT!
For the price of 3 sets of these to add to a machined bead for a project, this is a total disappointment. I had an extremely bright flashlight on these tubes for about 5 minutes. For the first couple of minutes after shutting off the light, they glowed brightly and I thought this is great. After a few minutes they faded to barely visible in the dark. I expected much better. I would not purchase again. I've got about 65 dollars in 6 tubes and a bead to hold them and I would like to have 60 dollars back to feel like I got my money's worth.

It’s glow in the dark.
I wish it lasted long like tritium but it is what it is.. This gives off that effect for about 5 mins. I threw one in my edc pry bar.

Very dim
Very dim, as in hardly visible in the dark, even after immediate charging. Otherwise as expected.

Warning, This is a rip-off!
This appears to be a collusion between Amazon and the seller I believe. I received these thinking they were were filled with tritium gas. Opening them, they were not glowing. Went to return them due to being defective, I noticed these were luminous vials. Yes, the description displays this information. The problem I have with this, Tritium is not in the name or the description, but Amazon displays it as if it is, So this, IMO, is a setup by Amazon and the seller. I've also noticed this in a lot of products. Please do not be fooled by these acts by Amazon and sellers.

Cheap alternative to tritium
With a blast of bright light they stay illuminated most of the night. They are small. Not as good as tritium but a lot cheaper.

Exactly as advertised! Happy & informed consumer...
These phosphorescent vials are fantastic alternatives to more expensive and harder to aquire tritium vials. They require being charged by UV light to fluoresce brightest and for the longest. The quick dim is part of the deal. Tritium is self-luminous but comes with the aforementioned drawbacks. For best results, use UV resin to set the tubes. I'm very happy, and have purchased 2 sets in the Ice-Blue. Your results will be second to tritium, but this is the next best alternative. *These show up in a tritium specific search as alternatives for the same reason as unavailable groceries, electronics, etc searches. Also you MUST have a license to sell tritium (including "loose" tritium vials) in the United States...which is why vendors and customers alike order from China and online seller/auction stores. These work as advertised and sellers should not be subject to poor reviews as a result of not reading the whole ad, nor for consumer ignorance in reference to the FACT, you MUST have a license to sell something like this in the US... TruGlow, Trijicon, and like companies have the required license to sell in any US platform. Google it.

Under UV
Not tritium. Does not have it's own luminous source. You must charge it with sunlight, uv light or flashlight. Does not glow on it's own for more than a few seconds. "Rare Earth Luminous....is a little misleading. Cost is also way cheaper than real tritium.

Must have been old stock. No longer working enough to see by eye!
Wow. I’ve bought dozens of tritium illuminators through the years. Normally, they work for 10-15 years. These must already be that old. They don’t show up, even as well as my older than a decade ones. My daughter couldn’t even see them at all, in the fully black out bathroom at night. The camera picks up a little from most of them, but they are useless for marker tags.
