Dude, I’ve been messing with lint rollers and duct tape and those fabric lint rollers for years. For some reason this product never came across my radar until recently. This is a product that I will never do without now. It turns a 5 min lint roll job into 30 seconds. And so easy to clean. Just dump the hair it collects out. Very ingenious product. I’ll always have one of these on hand. Well worth the price

It’s very rare that you find a product that you are 100% happy with! This product is the one. I needed something that can remove the hair of of my couches & area rugs quickly (because my robot vacuum can’t handle the small rugs well ) I have 4 dogs and a long haired cat so there is no shortage of fur around here! This pet hair remover does a perfect job of removing every hair gently enough that it doesn’t ruin your furniture. It’s got a large enough capacity that I don’t have to empty until I’m done & emptying is easy for my arthritic hands with the gentle push of a button and tip out. I love that it has a hole in the handle to hang it in my utility closet. This is a perfect replacement for lint rollers!

I am not sure who owns the original patents on all of these similar and useful hair/lint removal tools, but there seems to be many companies that make different versions of this same exact product at various price levels. For instance, I also own the "Chom Chom" version of this hair/lint removal tool, and it works very well. However, there are certain aspects of this Black & Decker hair/lint removal tool that make it even better than the Chom Chom, and other similar products like it, including the much lower price. Also, as is true with the Chom Chom hair/lint removal tool, this B&D version also works as advertised IF it is used correctly. We mainly use this B&D hair/lint removal tool to clean up the hair left on the bed and furniture by our constantly shedding Sable German Shepherd. It does indeed work really well for that purpose. This B&D hair/lint removal tool also picks up little pieces of lint off of the furniture very well. However, just like the Chom Chom, this B&D hair/lint removal tool is NOT going to vacuum the entire house by itself, so don't expect miracles from it either. This B&D hair/lint removal tool is designed to be used in short back and forth strokes, and not long rolling motions, as the hair collector bar does not turn 360 degrees (it flips back and forth). The hair collector pads are designed to collect hair and lint by building up static electricity through friction, and then the squeegee deposits the hair and lint into the easy to empty storage compartment. If this B&D hair/lint removal tool is used in one long continuous direction/motion it will not work correctly, and I am quite sure that is where the few negative reviews are coming from. Also, as specifically stated in the included instructions, this B&D hair/lint removal tool is NOT designed to be used directly on humans or pets. It is not a sticky clothing lint roller or a dog/cat brush. The instructions also specifically state that this B&D hair/lint removal tool will not work on hard or smooth services. It needs some friction from rough furniture material in order to build up static electricity on the cleaning pads. As I previously stated, this B&D hair/lint removal tool does work very well IF it used as directed. Just don't use it for unintended purposes, and then leave a bad review because the instructions were ignored or not read at all. In two separate reviews, I am giving this B&D hair/lint removal tool 5 stars, while I previously gave the Chom Chom 4 stars, for several reasons. While both devices do work well, and in the exact same way, this B&D hair/lint removal tool seems to have addressed all of the short-comings that plague the Chom Chom. This B&D hair/lint removal tool has a thicker ergonomic handle, which makes it more comfortable to use. It also has an opaque purple storage compartment cover, which allows the user to tell when it's getting full. Also, this B&D hair/lint removal tool has a much more secure latch on the storage compartment door, so the door does not inadvertently pop open during use like the door on the Chom Chom does quite often. However, the best aspect of this B&D hair/lint roller tool is that it is nearly half the price of the Chom Chom, and many other devices just like it. In conclusion, I highly recommend this B&D hair/lint removal tool, as it does work very well for cleaning pet hair and lint as advertised, IF it is actually used correctly. The lower price makes it even better than the other products in this category that work just like it. For those people that have constantly shedding pets, I suggest picking up a few of these great B&D hair/lint removal tools to keep around the house and car.

I have tried nearly every single pet hair cleaning tool and product on the market except for the Chom Chom, because I couldn’t reason with the price for a potential dud product. However, I saw that Black + Decker makes a dupe for the Chom Chom that is far cheaper so I decided to try it out. Overall, this is probably my favorite pet hair tool to date and it exceeded my expectations even though it isn’t perfect. Out of everything I’ve tried, this lint roller removes the most pet hair in the quickest amount of time. Also, to clean it you just have to remove the hair from the pet hair collection compartment. My favorite product used to be the silicone lint rollers, but I was always annoyed by having to take the time to clean the roller and wait for it to dry. This lint roller can be immediately reused when full and doesn’t require repurchasing lint roller sheets or anything. Sometimes, the rubber guard on the bottom gets dirty but you can just wipe it off. Surprisingly, I found that it picked up a fair amount of embedded pet hair that was stuck in fabric. I wouldn’t expect it to work on the fabric on the back of car seats or in car trunks, however. While it’s a great lint roller, it’s not a miracle worker. This lint roller would be 5 stars (rather than 4) for me if it worked on all surfaces. I find it difficult to use on thinner fabrics and clothing. Instead, this lint roller works best on harder surfaces like a couch. The lint roller works by quickly flipping back and forth underneath to put the hair into the collection compartment. However, it just doesn’t flip very well on thinner fabrics. You can still sort of use it by just utilizing the velvet part to brush hair off but there are already cheaper and simpler lint brushes that work that way. I will point out that it is a bit of an arm workout. If you’re disabled or have chronic pain, this probably is not the product for you. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and encourage you to purchase it if you struggle with pet hair.

This item does exactly what I need it to do and it is not often you can say that about a product like this. I have a multi dog family and hair is always all over the couch and chair. This little item removes it all quickly and easily. It is also extremely easy to clean the little roller once it is full of hair. I have had this item about a week and have used it daily. I have been happy with it and will update the review as time goes on. So far-so good. It is the best dog hair remover that I have used to date. My vacuum can't remove the dog hair because it tries to suck up the fabric.

This device works well to remove my cats hair on my microfiber cloth furniture. Better than the glove and some other devices I have tried. Pet hair varies and so does furniture material, so others may not get the same good results that I get using this tool. The only thing that works better is the motorized brush head with my vacuum cleaner, but the B&D tool is more handy and a lot quieter and easier on the material than the powered vacuum brush head. I like how it is easy to clean out the hair from the tool as well.

This thing is great! It picks up all the hair and collects it in the little bin. No problems, works perfectly. And cheaper than some alternatives

If you have a cat or dog, you need one of these. Picks up pet hairs ridiculously well - so much better than anything I've used before. Emptying a (full) stash of hair and fluff from a compartment is a lot different to washing a sticky slab or throwing away matted paper. Think of it as a green vacuum, of sorts. Very happy with this product indeed. Will definitely buy another.
