What is the static pressure of this filter?

The term "static pressure" generally refers to the pressure relative to atmosphere that your blower is able to achieve. This HEPA filter is designed for a flow rate of approximately 1,000 CFM at a pressure drop of approximately 0.8 in. w.g. (water gauge). Depending on your system blower capabiliy, the actual flow rate through the filter will vary. The lower the blower static pressure, the lower the flow rate through the filter.

What size blower is recommended to achieve laminar flow using this filter?

I used the Dayton 1TDT8. I get excellent flow, with laminar air for at least 24 inches in front of the surface. I have a 1 inch furnace prefilter on the intake, and an 18 inch deep plenum behind the filter. I have the fan wired for 120 V. The flow is strong enough that it blows out the butane lighter that most people use to test. A stick of incense verifies that the flow is smooth and straight inside of about 2 inches from each edge.
