Most Cozy Bag
I would use this sleeping bag for camping if you aren't carrying it. But I might even consider carrying it because of the comfort it provides. However, I am not using it camping most of the time because I guess I am a bit weird and like the coziness of a sleeping bag in my bed. My old one finally gave up after a zipper tab broke off and 2 rips appeared...I mean the thing was more than 25 years old and lumpy from being washed so much. So I wanted to get one as close to the old one as possible and this one is soft, flannel-y, roomy, longer than my old one which is better because my dog has room to sleep on it at my feet instead of on a pillow that he ends up sliding off of. I deliberated on the $50 price, though for a good quality sleeping bag it is a decent cost. I kept thinking about it and it was the one I really wanted because it isn't a slick, noisy, sweaty, brightly colored bag, it is a soft, caramel colored fabric with a nice loft, breathability, and it turns out it is warm without being hot. Plus the no-snag zipper is amazing. And it has a cell phone pocket. So if you are looking for cuddly but roomy comfort and don't mind the weight, this is your bag. I hope to have it for 25 years like the last one. The old one now belongs to the dog for when he feels like sleeping on the floor.

Great sleeping blanket for use in SUVs or at camp
This sleeping blanket keeps me.very warm and comfortable when the temperature is as low as 20. Degrees Fahrenheit in our shed. It is a great sleeping blanket that does not use a heating element.

Great for Big'n'Tall people. Warm even near freezing.
Perfect size for a bigger person(~330lb). Really warm. Didn't want to get out of it one morning it was 34F when camping. It is heavy as I expected. Its not something to carry on long hikes. If you're going to use a sleeping bag more than few weekends a year, this is well worth the price.

Nice and toasty
This sleeping bag is working out just like we wanted. We backpack and car tent camp in PA. We have several down bags that we use when backpacking, but we were wanting a bag that we could zip together for tent camping. The nights in spring and fall can get pretty cold when tent camping and we wanted a bag to share the body heat. Well this bag does that. My spouse is over 6 ft and I'm 5'4" so ordered 2 of the long bags, total covers our queen airmattress, infact over laps on the sides, would fit a king. So size is really big when you put 2 together. Cozy factor is awesome. We stay so warm that when we roll this up in the morning the outside next to airmattress is damp from condensation. So needs aired out or flipped over to dry. This only is a outside issue, we have never felt damp inside of bag. The biggy is that this is NOT a small bag, it takes up a lot of room in the car and is heavy. IS NOT FOR BACKPACKING (UNLESS YOU ARE A GIANT AND STRONG LIKE THE HULK). We cut the cover bag off this and roll and secure with bunges. Works better. No problem with the zippers and has a nice flannel inside. Will use when we have exta guest who don't get a bed, because is so comfortable. Very happy with our purchase.

Your feet might feel the cold the most
I've used this bag in the 30-40 degree F temperature and will say that dressing up moderately warm (including a face mask) with extra attention to your feet is going to be necessary. I also used a blanket underneath to add more cushion so I can't say how comfortable this might be just on the floor of the tent, but the cushion material inside was comfortable and not anything that would cause itchiness or whatnot. It's not that tight inside either so you won't feel at two ends of the sleeping bag. There is room to toss and turn. As reference, I am 205 LBS I am 5'9 in height so this sleeping bag can cover me head-to-toe, which is going to be necessary if the temp drops in the 20s. The zipper is pleasant to use. The zipper in this sleeping bag is beefy, built with strong quality, and on both sides of the bag (inside and outside of the sleeping bag). It has not gotten stuck on my yet. As far as rolling up the sleeping bag to travel with, it's not that portable, but it does have that extra height and cushion so that is the trade off. For my uses, I do not mind the size of it when it's wrapped up, but for someone who has to carry it on their back while hiking could very well mind it. Overall, great sleeping bag and I do recommend it for camping / in car use.

My Childhood Dreams Wrapped in Flannel
For years, my parents had a Coleman sleeping bag, brown in color, that transcended all of my childhood hopes and dreams for comfort. For years, I tried to find said sleeping bag, hoping that this thirty year product would have a cousin twice removed down the line that I could call my own. It took several weeks of searching, a few of looking at the pictures, another two of calculating finances, and at least three adding to cart and removing it to finally bite the bullet to purchase this sleeping bag. I could have saved my past self several weeks of indecision if I had been able to access the Ancestry.com report of this sleeping bag. It doesn't qualify as a second cousin twice removed but that sibling no one knew about. The comfort and warmth of this sleeping bag takes me back to my childhood and the big and tall size makes me feel like I'm a teeny child curled up in flannel and fluff. I tested the bag several days just to confirm my flashbacks and in my journey, I managed to convert a friend of mine, who now swears that this sleeping bag may end up among her things if I don't watch it. (Fortunately, she is tiny and I can take her if need be.) The only downside I have to this sleeping bag is the way the bag is stored. The older sibling of this bag didn't have a storage case, preferring the roll and tie up method that I have mastered after years of using it. This one has a feeble little flap that is supposed to act like a bag but apparently flunked out of bag school a long time ago. Fortunately, since I have mastered the art of rolling, it doesn't take long to get it into the flappity doo dah that is attached to this thing. Good luck getting it to look like one cohesive piece, though. Would definitely recommend this sleeping bag to anyone interested in staying warm in cooler climates. It makes for a fantastic cover for an air mattress as well as comforter in a pinch. I will amend my review once I'm able to take it camping. (My expectation is that it is not as water resistant as some of the other bags in the market but as long as it is warm, I should be cozy.)

FOR THE WIN!!!
GREAT BAG!! I used it this past holiday weekend(Memorial Day 2020). And, after complaining to a friend about its cold rating being a bit off, I learned something. Said friend is an avid outdoor person and he told me the temp rating for sleeping bags is NOT a comfort rating, per se. It is a survival rating. Thus, with a bag rated at 20degrees, I expected that bag in 45degree weather to be quite nice. I was a little cold the first night(42degree overnight low) but after whining I was told that rating is for survival, not comfort. If the bag was the only "shelter" I had and the temps dropped to or near 20degrees, I might be hella uncomfortable with cold and shivering, but I would not die or become overly hypothermic. That all being said, this bag is PERFECT. Durable out shell of woven fabric means it won't slide around on an air mattress or foam pad. Inner shell is very nice flannel and super comfortable. Zipper is all but idiot proof with the "plow" design. Size is also perfect for a slightly husky fella. I am not tall, but I am a bit wide. But I like to stretch out straight and the length of the bag permits this without any "binding" of my toes. Definitely worth the $50 spent and I have officially retired my previously horded and protected oversized sleeping bag that I have had for nearly 20 years. Can't go wrong with this bag.

BEST sleeping bag ever!
I have used this exact bag every night for the last 5 years and its been washed LOTs of times and still keeps its shape and warmth. Very cozy and comfortable without being too heavy or smothering. Plenty of room to move or change position at night w/o getting tangled up in like most sleeping bags. I like it so much I'm buying another one. Eventually they do lose the loft of the fill if they are washed enough and mine is almost at that point. I feel this is the best sleeping bag I've ever had so I'm giving it a high score and if you want a bag that will really last, I highly recommend this one! AZ

Good to use as a Queen-sized Duvet
After many weeks of research, I decided to buy a Dunnock for use as a comforter. I'm sleeping in a Twin XL bed and was tired of freezing every night under three yarn blankets and a cheap comforter. It washed and dried well at the laundromat, though it took me some time to figure out how to undo the zipper (was ditzy on my part, not hard to understand). Despite the zipper being partially done up, nothing was pulled or damaged. After letting the last stretch of dampness dry up at home, it took a few days to break in. When it's stiff at first, don't be annoyed that it's rigid and heat escapes when zipped up; give it a chance and move around inside. Stacking the cheapo comforter and another thick blanket on top did the trick and have been keeping me warm. While the Dunnock is well constructed, I don't find it great at retaining heat. Add a layer or two as I did and you'll notice a marked improvement. As for alternatives to it, I did find a few - all more expensive or at least impossible to find and buy. The Wenzel Conquest and Grande are discontinued, as is the pricy Slumberjack Country Squire line. The Coleman Big Game looked good at first, but many have complained of quality control issues and its measurements proved unsuitable for a tall man. The Coleman Brazos looked attractive, but again measured too small besides sporting cheaper build materials. As a side note, one reason I chose this was the combination of hypoallergenic fill and breathable cotton exterior. Warmth is great, but not if your skin can't breathe and you find yourself throwing off the covers every so often because of it. If you have a more sensitive immune system, avoiding down fill could be a good idea. All in all, I would recommend this sleeping bag. I see it as one of the very best on the market today and at not too high a price. The red plastic zipper tab is an excellent feature and prevents snags altogether; I can't remember the last time zipping was such a breeze. I would have preferred a king size to tuck further under my mattress, but it works. It cleans well, the colour scheme is pleasant, and the brown cuddly interior was a nice touch. P.S: When washing, use cold. When drying, use medium heat, no more. Let it stay a bit damp so it doesn't shrink and the fluff inside doesn't feel like bunching up. You may notice some fuzzies on the orange exterior from cleaning, it is what it is.
