Q: Does it look the cheap shiny material or more like cotton?

It feels like silky cotton—it isn’t shiny. I purchased a solid color and it does run big. I would have preferred an extra small if I were to wear it as a shirt, but I was used it for a nightshirt.

Q: I'm 5'7" around 170lbs.. I want a fit like the model.. would large or xlarge be better?

These shirts run big. I am petite and would have wanted an extra small for a shirt. The small was great for a nightshirt.

Q: Not a cotton, why the title says cotton?

I thought it was a cotton poly blend. it does seem cool at night which seems to indicate some percentage of cotton.
