When I adopted my dog, I planned to feed her homemade food but wanted a healthy kibble as a backup for busy days or emergencies. I tried many popular brands—even healthier options with minimal ingredients—but she either refused to eat them or they caused odor and tear stains. Then I found this vegetarian formula, and it’s been amazing. She loves it, has normal bowel movements, no odor, and no tear stains. I’ve already bought three bags and couldn’t be happier with the ingredients. I still feed homemade food most of the time, but I’m so glad I found a healthy kibble she genuinely enjoys when I need a quick meal option. The price is reasonable for me.

My dog had pretty severe digestives issues and after several vet visits with no significant resolution other than to suggest food that would have been prohibitively expensive, a friend suggested I try a vegan diet. Like magic his issues resolved and after a year of cutting out all animal products and feeding him exclusively a vegan diet his digestive issues are gone and he is thriving. His coat is shiny, his eyes are bright and he hasn’t had any episodes of diarrhea or vomiting since I switched him to this food. Highly recommend this product.

Three chihuahua mixes give this food 2 paws up so it must be tasty. All rescues through the year have been put on this diet and readily ate with no complaints after being switched from other foods. First one I switched due to allergies and skin issues. I will continue to purchase this. I don't like that the price has esculated $10 more for the 4 lbs bag over the last 2 years. Now that I have 2 pups at once I switched to the larger bag on S&S for better value but that's more money too. Everything has gone up but this is like a 70% increase. I've never read of any adverse recalls or anything out of this brand and it is rated one of the cleanest of processed dog foods. Many of the top name foods have had recalls or worse deaths of dogs, this one to my knowledge never has. My guys graze on this and get fresh fruits and vegetables and whatever else they can beg off my plate. My dogs have lived 15+ years raised as vegans and never get vaccinated except rabies. They are former throw away dogs who are now healthy, happy and confident. This food, whimzees, and peanut butter bananna cookies from Trader J O E is all a dog needs to have a happy tummy.

My last two dogs small breeds were on this brand for 8 years. They lived til 15 and 17 years old. I myself am vegan. I thought well if I am / the household. I didn’t want to be a hypocrite and decided to transition them. No problems and they always seemed to enjoy. I would highly recommend alot of pet parents to pursue a vegan diet for your fur family members. If they have skin issues, digestive etc and you have tried everything please consider a vegan brand dog food. I swear to you more than likely will help. Also this eliminates hurting other animals friends for our animals. God Bless
