This smells great but haven’t used it in diffuser yet

This scent smells so good! I'm just disappointed that it doesn't last as long as promised. The price is pretty steep. If it wasn't so expensive I would keep ordering.

FIRST ONE I ORDERED: I haven't actually used this disk yet but did open the package & do the "sniff test". It has a warm, smoky scent - not smoky like burnt, smoky like being in a warm wrap with some spiciness. This ended up smelling great when I put it in the holder. SECOND ONE I JUST ORDERED: I did use the 1st one & it smelled GREAT. So, I reordered the same scent & put it in a 2nd holder I ordered at the same time. It has scent when not in the holder but barely any scent when it's in it & turned on. Could it be the new holder (round with only 1 opening - on the top, brown trim at the top & floral around the bottom). I'm going to try it in the original one & see if that helps. Shouldn't NEED to do that but I will. UPDATE: Switched the disc to the original base (Day of the Dead head), the scent is much stronger now. So, if you have the same problem, try a different base. I'll use the round, single opening base in my living & dining room area & keep the "head" in the bedroom. I turn it on about an hour before going to bed & go in to a lovely scented sleep.
