Light but strong. A good purchase even if mounting for underneath a desk.
We used this to mount the Mac Mini on the underside of an electronic stand-up / sit-down desk. The metal is very light but it seems extremely sturdy. Feels like some kind of alloy that is specifically designed to be light and tough. The wood screws that ship with it were much too long for the thickness of the desktop, so we had to go to the hardware store and get shorter ones. Also placed some vinyl tape over the screw heads once it was mounted so the Mac Mini wouldn't get damaged. The key lock is some what strange to install, but it works well and am happy that there is some measure of security as well. Also, I'm not sure why this one took so long to ship — maybe because it's manufactured in Canada and we're in Texas? I would recommend this to anybody.
