Aveeno Skin Relief Soothing Shampoo 300ml

I feel like I have tried and returned so many different kinds of shampoos that I've lost count. I have a very itchy scalp that gets oily within two days. When I wash my hair my scalp burns slightly and then almost immediately after stepping out of the shower it starts to itch and itches till I wash again in two to three days. I've wondered if it's my water, got a few filters with no change. Then tried medicated shampoo and that seemed to make it worse. Now please keep in mind that this was my first shampoo with Aveeno Skin Relief but I HAD to leave a review because for the first time in YEARS, my scalp did not burn at all and so far no itch. I'm thankful for all the other reviews because honestly I don't think I would have tried it without seeing them. This shampoo isn't in any of my local stores but I took at chance and ordered it through Amazon. I was put off by the price but I needed something. Hoping the results continue for me. It left my hair manageable and not dry at all. Didn't notice any fragrance (This is important to me, I have migraines) and my hair feels clean. I'm very sensitive to everything and this seems to be a clean product compared to most.

I had to change my shampoo because my prior shampoo made me itch. Since I had began using Aveeno Products because of Eczema, I thought this item would be a good choice. Well it doesn’t make me itch, but it sure doesn’t smell good either. I’m allergic to fragrances so I take a chance whenever I buy something that I haven’t tried before. I read labels and descriptions of the items and hope that I can use whatever I buy. By the time I bought this I was using Ivory soap to wash my hair. I read the descriptions of tons of shampoo before selecting this one, though some reviewers didn’t like the way it smell. I had to select something. So I took a chance on this item. What I like is my back does not itch after I rinse it out it. What I don’t like is the residual fragrance, which lingers long after I’ve washed my hair. What I really wanted was not to smell anything. I’m going to continue to use this until it’s gone but I may look around for something else.

I think this is a good product. I have not noticed any itching, which was a problem last winter. My hair doesn't feel greasy after using it. Good product

Got this because I saw a TikTok recommending this for dry scalps. I will say it lathers pretty well, but it does that thing when you wash it out and your hair feels super dry, and you can't run your fingers through it smoothly. I personally can't stand that. My scalp has been somewhat more moisturized, but I know there is a better product out there for me. Scent is pleasant as well.

Due to hairless for chemo this shampoo was gentle & soothing.

Cannot recommend this enough! My dry scalp was so embarrassing and caused me to itch constantly. After 1 use I immediately felt relief. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about the scent. It does not smell bad- more like a subtle oatmeal scent

Wow. Just wow. I have used high end shampoos for years and after having really dry scalp for a while I’m impressed how well this shampoo helped and made my hair feel so much smoother and healthier, and how cheap it is!! Favourite shampoo! Also find my hair is sooo much less greasier and I can go longer between shampoos, it’s a nice thin consistency and lathers good. Really suggest buying this!

This is an excellent shampoo for a dry and itchy scalp, just to let you know this is for one bottle of the product and not 6 pieces as in the description

Excellent shampoing pour ma fille qui a une peau atopique et souffre d'eczéma. Aveeno convient parfaitement et la soulage très bien.
