Car Doorstep

Purchased for a Ford Edge. This is my second one (two different cars). The one in my Elantra after a year wont even stay up. Neither cars visors really come down far enough or close enough to the windshield to do much good. On the Elantra it now just collapses and lays on the dash. Seems its just not strong or firm enough any longer. This newest one is still working ok, but Ive had it less than 2 months.Also to me it seems the velcro is on backwards. So you put this thing in shiny side out. To me, and it could just be me, it makes sense that if I am in the car and want to roll it up, I take the top and pull it down and roll it up clockwise (palms down). However when you do this the velcro cannot be used. To use the velcro you either have to roll it up counterclockwise (palms down but using the action of how you would unroll something) OR attempt to flip it over so you can roll it.Its my expectation that seeing how this one is also sagging a little in the middle, it too will eventually no longer stay up. Currently I take a roll of those blue work shop towels and place on the dash in the middle.The next time I will probably try one of the accordian style ones.

Bought this one and one for my GF when I lived in the San Fernando valley.Those wondering where "The valley" is???... Its halfway between Mercury and the Sun!Anyway need something to help tune the temps a bit between getting in and out of my car.Tried various shields and most didn't fit and without 95% blocking of the sun the baking my interior gets means you get in the car and wait 20mins for the cookies on the dash to finish baking before you get in.Only issue... is its a roll & stow as opposed to the accordion folding verisions I prefer.Please MFG revise your packaging and mgf process so that fold and stow will work... then it will be Perfect.ThanksDW

It fits like a glove. The weather has just started to cool down here so I won't get to see if it really keeps the car much cooler on those hot summer days, but I am excited to have it protect my interior from sun damage. It's pretty sturdy and stayed in place without the use of the visors, but I'll probably use them anyhow. Unlike some of the other reviewers said, I didn't have a problem rolling it back up at all. I used the space in the front passenger seat to do it. It may be a little more difficult if someone else was occupying that seat though :) This product arrived quickly and is exactly as described. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to others.

Fits really well on 2014 Edge, stayed perfectly in place while my car was parked at the airport for a week. A bit difficult to roll up will sitting in the front seat. I'm hesitant to buy one for my wife's Fusion because her windshield is huge and I'm worried she wouldn't use it because of the difficulty rolling it back up.

This fits my Ford Edge perfectly. Love the quality of the product. Since it is so large it does sag a bit in the center. A bit more rigidity would have been nice to keep it flat against the windshield; however, not sure if adding more structural support would allow it roll up nicely. All in all a great product. A bit tricky to roll up nice and snug to fasten close. Once you get the hang of it you will love it.

This shade fits the windshield perfectly. As others have mentioned, it rolls up easily and has a Velcro fastener to make that easier. If you live in a warmer area during the summertime and you went with a leather interior, you need this! It does keep the interior noticeably cooler when the car is sealed up. Things like the steering wheel, shift knob, and leather wrapped center console/armrest won't burn your hands or arm after baking in the sun all day. Don't get me wrong, the interior still gets hot, but it is much more bearable and you wont burn your legs when you jump into the hot leather seats wearing shorts, compared to not having the shade.

It seemed a bit heavy and cumbersome at first, but basically our Edge windshield is very large so to cover the sunshade has to be big also. A few days later and we have gotten very used to rolling and unrolling the shade without much hassle. It covers the window perfectly. Has just enough give to get around the mirror and stays put very well. A huge help at keeping the inside of the car cooler and the interior fabics and dashboard protected. We are very pleased.

It works! It fits the Ford Edge perfectly but the folding up was ridiculous. It took a while to unravel it put it up and then take it down. That alone just made it okay for me. So if youre willing to deal with the bulkyness of storing and the time needed to undo-do it then this is the one for you.
