I bought this case as a way of keeping my watch safe during the night. Previously, I had been in the habit of slinging my watch anywhere on my nightstand--face down, lying on its crown--and I had a skill for sweeping it right onto the hardwood floor whenever I groped for my alarm clock in the dark. I even resorted to strapping my watch to the bulky shaft of a flashlight I keep near my bed, but I figured there had to be a better storage solution. Because I have only one watch and didn't want to spend fifty dollars on a really pretentious, upscale case, the Watchpod looked like a perfect alternative. For scale, it's about the exact dimensions of a large bagel. It has a textured leatherette skin with an a nice, solid zipper that allows the case to open and close like a clamshell. Inside, two raised ovals--one on the top half of the shell, one on the bottom--meet to form a pseudo "wrist" around which you can strap your watch. Unzipped, the case remains about halfway open so you can admire your watch. Zipped, the case keeps the watch snugly in place and well protected. The core material beneath the leather and fabric seems to be a type of hardened plastic, but it's hard to tell. At any rate, it's quite solid, and if you're like me and tend to knock things off your nightstand in the dark, the Watchpod has you covered. The case is also small enough that you could easily slip it into your luggage if you're traveling. All in all a solid, well-built, and inexpensive case for a single watch, perfect for traveling but also serviceable for your nightstand or dresser. It also comes with a microfiber cloth for polishing your watch crystal.

Great case for travelling and leaving your watch around. I alternate between a watch winder and some microfiber cloth when not using my watch, this makes for a great case when not in use, since its moulded insides are soft . For travelling since its impact resistant to an extend, its great for stuffing in a crammed backpack or bag. I just wrap the watch in a small microfiber cloth and zip it in the watchpod. I have 2, one for my wife with the ladies size watch and another for me, so it fits both smaller and larger watches. Im not sure if it will fit oversize watches but should fit upto a Rolex Deepsea.

It is a really good looking high quality case but only one thing to be careful is that the case is kind of too big. I suggest it for HUGE watch owners. At least 44mm diameter watch will be ok to fit in, or there will be lots of play in the case. You dont want that during the travel. Pros: - High quality built overall. Flawless for the price - Unlike the outer look, case is actually durable. Cons: - cushion system inside of the fusion could be little better. It is still pretty good but there are other choices got better cushions. - WAY TOO BIG. But whatever people with big watch is gonna like it.

I haven't actually taken a trip with this yet, but seems to be a nicely-made little carrier. Anything bigger than a 42mm or so case might be a bit of a squeeze but most of my watches are 37mm to 41mm so I think it will be a great solution of my travels.

I work in an industrial setting, Change-out good for cheap watches at work, and need a good case to store my good watch while at work. This case works great, I like the semi-hard shell, the size is perfect, notice how the zipper is padded from the inside to avoid rubbing against my watch, and still room for the small included cloth. I previously used a camera lens case, but this is much better, and for a great price, why risk damaging your valuable watch. I am buying a second case for traveling. However, some of the other similar cases don’t seem/look to be semi-hard like this brown one, FYI.

Pretty average. The external texture is really tacky, much better to get the plain black one. Could do with a ‘foam insert’ to supprt the watch.
