I gave this an overnight sit, and it totally revived my late father’s cutting board! Gave it a lovely color, and was easy to apply. Just put on some gloves, smeared it on, and wiped it off with paper towels the next day. The finish feels smooth! It’s not perfect like a professional finish, but it’s worth it to do at home. I am absolutely in love with this stuff! It was so simple to use and made my wooden utensils. Look brand new. I look for new items to coat every daily! I wanted to use it on an I wanted to use it on some wooden spoons I’d received as gifts. After years of use (and dishwashing) they were looking very dried out. One application and they are beautiful again. The directions say to leave the product on for two hours or overnight, I’ve left all of my spoons coated overnight as I haven’t been in a hurry to clean them. The wood butter absorbs well and does just what it says. I haven’t used very much and have done most of my wooden utensils. No special tools required, it cleaned up with a soft cloth. I wish I had taken a before picture so the difference was clear. When I started both spoons were a dull gray brown.

This is a great all natural product. The item has no smell and applies easily. We use the product on our butcher block countertops. The product drys quickly after application and wiping off the residual.

First thoughts ~ it's gotta all be the same, and this stuff is on the expensive side. After using it ~ daaaaayum. I think I just found my brand. No cons. Only pros:. Works on wood (duh), but also stone. It made a beautiful seal on quartz that wasn't accomplished after emptying an entire can, of a product intended for literally just that one job, on it. Adds a smooth feel and allows for your hand to glide, and water to bead, and it's not greasy. A little goes a long way, parchment paper is also a quick and easy applicator for it. I used it on every piece of wood in the house and still have a lot left. Adds a "tiger's eye" style shimmer to certain woods and knots. Unexpected, and rad turn of events. Highly recommend this product. You won't be sorry. Oh and wear gloves. But if you don't, this also washes off (hands) fairly well. Save yourself the continued search and wonder; get this one. Job done.
