What is the crown / button on at the 10 oclock, what does it do?

Appears to be a helium escape valve. But with a scuba diving watch that is only rated to 100m you'd certainly never be using this watch in a manner that requires that valve. 100m rated actually doesn't qualify as a SCUBA diving watch anyway. The valve is used to release helium that would build up inside the watch during saturation dives (divers living and working at depths, generally 150' and usually deeper) while living at depth in a chamber that has a helium mix. Helium is smaller than oxygen and nitrogen so it can leak into the watch. That helium needs to escape from inside the watch when the dive chamber returns to the surface or the crystal would pop off. There is NO WAY any commercial diver (basically the only divers that saturation dive other than the occasional scientist) would use this watch. So this is just for kicks and giggles. I guess it looks cool, but totally useless for 99.9% of the divers out there.
