Everything was in the box, neatly in its place, the only thing I really had to install was the light itself with everything you need already furnished. The tripod was already set up, just a little adjusting, so far I'm loving my grow light!! It's very easy to operate and works beautifully so far, I hope it works a great as everyone else says it does, that's why I purchased it. The price was great also and I love the tripod and light adjustments this light gives you. It's very lightweight. One thing I found out is to give the plants light during the day, not at night, even though they may be getting daylight in the winter, this growlight will give them the boost they need. Plants need a break from light during the night-time just like people. Too much light can actually harm your plant. I set this light at 80% starting off the first week and then at 100% there on on the 12 hour timer, this grow light is like a plant nanny and literally takes care of my plants for me. The timer works flawlessly. I recommend starting your timer from 8 a.m. till 8 p.m., that's about the amount of light they would get in the summer time, which has been perfect for my plants so far, they are loving this light and the investment was well worth it!! It has the full spectrum light they need and are already showing amazing improvement. Trust me, if you give them the light during the day and let them rest during the night they will show you love back by doing what you want them to do by growing!!

It's bright and works perfectly fine upon arrival. I can't speak yet for how long it will last, but it definitely feels very cheap and the stand is sufficient but flimsy and easy to tip over if fully extended. Also the LED panel itself has no cooling (no fans, no heatsink) and gets hot. Instructions say hot operation is normal, which yeah it is normal for LEDs to get pretty hot, but in such cases it's pretty common to at least have an aluminum heatsink, so I feel like they could have at least put a heatsink for passive cooling. Also, the power supply has no ground, so do be careful about using in humid environments. I think the safety of this product is questionable in the long term. I suppose it is fine for the price, can't complain a whole lot. But just be aware it's not a heavy duty product. For future purchases I will probably not get another one of these and instead opt for something sturdier with cooling and a grounded power supply.Will update review if anything changes with it.

I have one of these along with some other grow lights. I noticed my herb garden plants under another brand and type of grow light are getting leggy and straining towards the one from this company. Clearly plants like it and respond better than to my other grow lights. Time to get another one for some plants brought in for the winter. I find that a new model is available from this company and it is superior in several ways (strength of light and height) to the previous model. I ordered the new one and this arrived - what's not to like - easy set up, on and off automatically, strength of light choices and a broad enough beam to handle multiple plants. I waited a bit late this year to bring in the asparagus fern - the poor thing was dropping needles and turning brown. I watered it well, gave it a bit of fertilizer and stuck it under this light. New growth is appearing and needles have quit shedding. So far, my tea plant seems to be doing very well under this after doing so-so under another, weaker light. And in the spring I can put a large plant in a dark corner and watch it thrive with this.

I ordered this grow light because my plant was not getting enough natural light. The stand up grow light has an Adjustable stand and it does the job. It was easy to assemble and there is an automatic timer that makes life simpler because I do not have to turn it on everyday, the timer lasts 4 hours or 8 hours. I have noticed the younger leaves look stronger, shinier, and healthy. Definitely a great buy.

I purchased this light for use on my houseplants this winter. I noticed my plants were looking a little weak and needed an introduction of light. This light has a nice sturdy stand, switch easily and conveniently located and the best feature is the timer. I have it set and it literally runs itself. Easy to assemble with all pieces included as well as very good instructions. Definitely a great purchase! Plants are looking great too!

Not all light bulb will work

Excellent light for low light winter growing. I used it with my Tasmanian Fern that usually loses most of its fronds. This year, it kept most and 6 have grown before I have put it outside.
