I gave it four stars because obviously I was going to use it in the rainy season at my place. The waterproofing is allright however, due to the layout of the soles moss gathered on the grooves of the soles and it was hard to clean and I nearly slipped but did not. After too much wearing as I was wearing it for more than 24 hours of travelling, my feet perspired and the sweat made my feet and socks wet. Overall a tad bit expensive and with this price range would want a better finish and better soles and breathability. And one more thing the laces untie themselves after some time of walking so have to tie a double lace. Thank fully the laces are long enough to tie it double.

Good shoes
This is a good shoe. I gave it four stars because obviously I was going to use it in the rainy season at my place. The waterproofing is allright however, due to the layout of the soles moss gathered on the grooves of the soles and it was hard to clean and I nearly slipped but did not. After too much wearing as I was wearing it for more than 24 hours of travelling, my feet perspired and the sweat made my feet and socks wet. Buen producto. Impermeables. Excelentes para el senderismo, más cómodas que las caterpillar, pero no tan cómodas como las Timberland. Vamos a ver cuánto duran.

Excellent lightweight all-terrain hiking shoe.
This shoe is like a high top running shoe but with better sole. The heel is square, not rounded, so descending dirt, scree or soft snow is secure. I have rock climbed with them up to Yosemite Grade 5.6 although not technically a rock shoe. This is my third pair and they last a good season as I am hiking or climbing about 5 days per week as a professional. The waterproofing allows feet to stay dry when walking through wet/dewy grass. They are also good for running on mountain trails and off-trail terrain. The nylon web lace guides do wear through but the shoes are pretty much used up at that point.
