This product was recommended for dealing with a Blastocystis infection. Because of Hashimoto's, I am sensitive to many products, so was uncertain whether I could tolerate it. I decided, though, to give it a try. The pills are rather large, long pills, so that might be a problem for some. They are a soft capsule, though, which may help get them down. After two tries, I had to give up on them. My body couldn't tolerate them. Maybe it was the berberdine itself, or maybe it was one of the additives, perhaps the quillaja or one of the other additives. There are other berberdine products that do not have these additives. I should have tried one of them first. I wouldn't recommend this one if you have Hashimoto's.
