The cap on this bottle just doesn’t feel reliable at all in normal use. Every time I close it, I still end up checking it again because it doesn’t give that secure feeling you expect from something this basic. A couple of times I noticed slight residue building up around the opening which makes it feel less clean and kind of poorly designed. It’s not one single big issue, it’s more this constant low level annoyance every time I handle it that makes the whole experience feel less stable and not very well thought out.

I broke the magnetic connection on my original charger that came with my Surface 3 laptop and this is an excellent replacement; in fact I like it better than my original charger. The cord that plugs into my computer is about 1 foot longer than my original cord which I appreciate and it has an extra port to charge an additional item. The magnetic connection looks sturdier than the original also. The charger box does get warm when charging. Shipping was very quick. Only time will tell on it's durability.

I got home it smelled like electrical shorting. I noticed the plug was melting to the table slowly. It turned out this surface charger was melting away and shorting out. Do not buy this. Buy genuine products instead
