Calmoseptine Ointment 4 oz (Pack of 10)

This stuff is awesome. I like the cooling sensation it provides for the first half hour or so. Keeps skin protected well. Smells like a mixture of mint and calamine lotion. Neither scent is strong - just a faint scent when putting it on. I recommend wearing gloves when using as it does a great job of sticking to your skin as designed.

Originally made for feeding tube barrier I think. I use it for soothing a chapped bottom. Great for barrier cream for bottom issues, feels cooling and heals overnight.

I've been buying this for years. My mom is a registered nurse and had recommended it for diaper rash years ago our first child about 6 months in. This stuff sticks to everything and provides relief from diaper rash and as a small dab to prevent diaper rash. It also works for big kid problems too; I sometimes forget my age and eat too spicy of foods, enough said. Mom had used it in the hospital and nursing homes she had worked, for patient bed sores.

This was recommended to me by my child’s pediatrician and we've never looked back. I had tried every name brand available and she still had issues but that all stopped her. No matter what type is on the baby registry and you can bet this is always in the basket/gift bag

My mother uses this regularly. Once when she had a surgery, the bandage pulled a chunk of skin off of her back when removed due to it being stuck on there. I cleaned the area and applied the calmoseptine thickly and rebandaged that area for a couple of days. when I carefully removed it, the calmoseptine had helped her heal in that area. good stuff.

Absolutely the best diaper cream but good for any skin irritation. It’s messy and hard to get off but that’s why it works so well. Wouldn’t be without it.
