We live in an INCREDIBLY 'hard water' area, which is categorically NOT ideal for our SAGE Oracle coffee machine. (Almost every household appliance associated with water useage gives up the ghost in our region, within a few years.) This said, I had thought that, because I regularly 'poked' the holes in the end of the steam wand, with the cleaning pin - and washed the nozzle in warm, soapy water, I was doing all I could to ensure that sufficient steam could always be dispensed, to make our lovely frothy/creamy Lattes; I was clearly wrong!!! After a couple of years, the steam wand had stopped 'thickening' the milk as it was frothing it; we had some 'bubbles' on the top, but the velvety feel of properly frothed milk had become a thing of the past. SO we decided to invest in some de-scaler (we plumped for 'HG Descaler for Coffee Machines') and some of THIS Milk Cleaner for steam wands and milk systems (after doing quite a bit of reading of chemical ingredients and their work on different pHs, we decided to go for the ALKALI, rather than the ACIDIC, version) - and BINGO!!! The difference has been STAGGERING; the machine is like new again! Thoroughly recommend giving this (and descaling) a go if you're struggling to retain the really 'velvety' texture to your steamed milk.

Works well, offers very good value. The dosing feature is good, you squeeze the bottle and a measurable quantity is deposited into a small, integrated container.

Worked very well on tough baked on milk

I had a fully automatic espresso machine that heated and frothed the milk for a cappuccino, latte or macchiato. Although the machine rinsed the milk system every time it was shut down, it needed to be cleaned regularly. This milk system cleaner did the job quite well and at a much lower cost than other milk system cleaner. I have a new manual espresso machine that has the steam wand for frothing milk. I use the milk system cleaner to remove milk from the wand. It works well. My first order came in a padded envelope. When I opened it, the container had leaked, so I got cleaner all over myself and the floor. Amazon replaced it without problem.

A great milk system cleaner that is perfect for Jura automatic machines. I've been using it for years without issue.

Works great on my Breville machine - diluted 1:10 and soak for ~20min unclogs steam wand effectively
