Q: Unit is now unavailable from amazon. i'm concerned that the company is flybynight and i won't be able to get replacement filters. should i return?

I strongly advise NOT purchasing this unit for shipping by Medify. That's because Medify will make you wait and wait indefinitely for an item that they don't really have in stock. Whenever it comes in stock for shipping via Amazon Prime, that would be the time to buy it. As for the filters, third parties should be able to manufacture them, so no worries.

Q: why has the sensor been staying in the 600 range? No cooking,fumes,anything near it.

IMO, the sensor is likely faulty. I have three MA-112's and they rare display above .009 unless detecting cooking smoke. Contact the seller; they have benn very helpful for me in the past.

Did you turn it off or set it to a speed for a bit and see what happens I have never had this problem from a customer. Perhaps the sensor was damaged in shipping? If it does not go away contact us at Medifyair or send back to Amazon Prime for a replacement unit and they will give you a label to ship that back No worries we Stand behind our products 100%
