For The Broken Paperback – June 28, 2017

Shenaia hasbeautiful, strong words, but I prefer poetry that makes my mind dance to the rhythm of the words, So many blank lines break the flow, Not what I look for in poetry.

I have been broken a great part of my life. I always called it like shattered glass, never to be whole again. Scars do not heal. This is one of the most sacred spiritually gifted poets I have ever read. I read it opening to any random page always. The style of writing is wonderful, for you can do this. Never say no to this gold dusted book, it is a gift for all the pieces that make you you....

I enjoyed this book of statements and passages. I was not a fan of chapter 3 very much I feel it does not connect to the book as it should. Chapters 1,2 & 4 all work well with the book and help with thinking about ones self in a deeper way especially when one is going through an emotional time. chapter 3 talks about the government and things wrong with the world. it is more to open the mind to what is happening but most people already know these issues.

Would've been better if they broke up the poems better. Took a bit to get use to and it's much nicer when they have a single poem on each page.

This is a good little poem book. Easy to ready.

Exemely disappointing! I read the reviews and thought finally something that will live up to milk and honey. Oh how I was wrong. Don’t waste your money on a book that gives you a poem you can read on Pinterest such as: in order to love you must love yourself first. Then was extremely upset and offended on page 75 stating that all white people have more privilege then everyone. As a white female who has dealt with abuse must of just been my white privilege to be put in the foster care system and lost. I can go on and on. This book can be read during one of your favorite hour long show during commercials. This book is for the broken from a relationship not a broken life broken emotions or a lost soul. If you need the motivation this book gives go to Pinterest.

This book was very real. Very true in every single category, every single topic. I bought the sexond book also. “Milk & Honey” helped me find this book because they are very much alike :)
