I have had quite a lot of this over the past year, my favourite for carving small figures lovely soft wood you do get the odd stick that has a slightly tough end, not enough of them to complain tho just an odd one here and there this is top quality sticks of basswood getting 2 small figures out of each of the 16 pieces which are inch by inch by 6 inches long so my figures are 2 x 1 inch, but the extra inch as I cut them in half, gives me a tall hat or a good stand base and I end up with 32 figures in all so good price and lovely to carve and paint (I use acrylic Liquitex)

Its very good wood, nice and soft easy to carve bass wood. Also very accessible and easy to get which is good as finding good wood can be a pain Only problem is some of the wood has staining/marks which isnt ideal so it lost a star for this review but other than that very good wood, will buy again

This is definitely the best Basswood ive ever bought really easy to carve and reasonable price i think a lot of sellers sell Pine and say its Basswood also Doug Linker recommends this Basswood from Beavercraft and if he likes it it's good enough for me

Does the job. Exactly the same as buying it through the beavercraft website. I only bought it from amazon for prime delivery. Can't complain. The wood is soft and cuts like butter. Wouldn't recommend anything else!

Beautifully soft and uniform wood for whittling. Be careful on smaller carves as it's fairly easy to go straight through the wood and into your knuckle!

Heel fijn om mee te werken, eindelijk eens geen wit dennenhout terwijl ze linden pretenderen. Mes scherpen en aan de slag.

16 pieces of the sizes stated on the webpage. All smooth surfaced, no dints, cracks or knots. Nor any damp or mould. Haven't cut into them yet so no idea if they are particularly soft or hard. Looking forward to using them on my scroll saw. It was packaged with another two items, all from Amazon itself. I had chosen the "hide what the contents are" not the "reduced packaging option". Just as well, who knows what that would have been like. The package arrived with a hole in it. Luckily none of the items were small enough to fall out of it. It's the flimsiest packaging I've ever received. Given this box of wood obviously has hard edges, I'd have expected much better packaging.

نوع الخشب مختلف تماما عن الصوره ومش ماركه أصلا محطوطه في كيس بلاستيك شفاف بدون حتى علبة والخشب لا يمكن التعامل معه تم الارجاع.. لا انصح به اطلاقا

Nothing negative to say about this wood. Very easy to carve and holds up well over time

Sono rimasto deluso dal tiglio arrivatomi in quanto si sfalda facilmente e in certi punti è veramente duro . Creda sia dovuto al diverso peso dei singoli pezzi che hanno notevole sbalzo uno dall altro. Spero che al prossimo ordine cambi Decisamente tutto.
