Achillea Long & Wide Scottish Tartan Plaid Shawl Wrap – Soft Cashmere Feel Winter Scarf, Outlander-Inspired Christmas Gift

I lost my Tartan Cape in parking lot @ work,feel off my arm, no one turned it in to lost and found....so I was on a mission to find another one, as of this post I haven't. But, I found this one out of three I ordered- this is gorgeous. The other two are capes, no comparison to this one that is a scarf not a cape. This is a very extra wide long scarf! The scarf is very beautiful, and so far out of the other two capes I ordered & now have, this one is a must have! Very vibrant colors I want in a cape. Three people have commented that they like this scarf. You too I believe will like it. Trust me I walked in a mall each store, and ordered on line, this is the only vibrant true tartan colors I have seen and now have. I'm wearing it over my other capes. It looks so pretty. Who would of thought how hard it is to find a tartan cape. No stores have one. Buy this! Happy shopping. I Probably can't find one because of the red for holidays & they're all gone. The picture is misleading. It does not hang below our waist line. Shoulder's/ middle of our back is where it hangs.

I purchased the shawls in Mackenzie plaid as gifts, and the recipients were delighted. They are as pictured. very soft to the touch, add warmth, and are versatile. I would consider purchasing again as gifts, and for myself.

As someone who is very hit and miss with 100% wool, this faux wool is amazing! It's incredibly soft, warm, and surprisingly thick. I got the Buchanan style and it's exactly like the picture, color is spot on. I plan on gifting some family members these in the future. I will say be careful with it as odors seem to cling to the material extremely easily.

This was a gift and it was very nice! It lives on the back of the couch and is a great piece to have out all the time. It’s so soft and so warm! The colors are perfect, it met all expectations and then some. It hasn’t shed or unraveled and is holding up fantastically for the regular use it gets.

Overall quite happy with this purchase. I'll get the bad out of the way first. The fiber description isn't completely accurate. The listing says 100% viscose but the item tag said 50% viscose 50% acrylic. I pulled up some loose fiber and did a burn test which seemed to confirm the 50/50 since it burned and had a cellulose smell, but also left behind a bead of hard melted plastic. Speaking of loose fiber, this scarf/shawl is lightly felted with a bit of a halo. Well, the halo does shed a little with moderate friction. I haven't tested, but I suspect that it would only shed a little at first and quickly run out of loose fibers. Now the good. It's very soft. It has the viscose silkiness but with a decent heft, like a lightweight flannel. It's very tightly woven and lightly felted, so it feels quite durable. The color and pattern are true to the image and give an authentic rustic aesthetic. Overall, I'm impressed with the very successful illusion of a lightweight wool tartan. For the price, it's quite high quality, but 1 start off for slightly inaccurate description.

Very soft. As expected size. Definitely a good part of my Scottish wardrobe.
