We get our home water supply from a spring across the street. We have a pump house that filters the sediment and a UV light to zap the bugs (yuck)!. Somehow, the spring water still tastes a little off, but we have this filter under our kitchen sink, for cold water only......this saves us from having to buy bottled water, that's a win!

We have safe spring water that is clear and tastes good, but still contains particulates. These filters do a great job of keeping our fixtures clear of clogged aerators, and the water also appears a bit more clear with the use of the filters vs no filter.

I have not used this product yet, but I ordered a whole home filtration system, and this was one of the filters in the system. I ordered more of this product so I would have them on-hand when I needed to change them out. I just built a new home, and I wanted a way to treat my water coming into the home, so that I could protect my lines, my appliances, and just have cleaner water to drink.I will add further notes, once the system is up and running...to be continued at a later date...

I have used this carbon filter, after a sediment one, for many years. I chose them by its price, and they provide good filtration.

Great product for my water filter.

Despite a week of using the filter, the water tastes like plastic. Yes the taste weakened after a week, however it is still there. Unpleasant.

Wasted my money on this 2 pack. Replaced and flushed them as instructed. The water it produces tastes like plastic and is worse than than the tap water.
