The book is very good and interesting. It brings different ideas for you to do in your projects. Through them you can create projects in various ways, suiting your need and taste. I recommend for sure, because already the second book that I buy because I recommended it to some friends.

The instructions were very thorough and easy to follow. The projects are whinsical which is just what I wanted. Laura is very creative and I love her method and results.

This is a simple and fun book to learn the basics of applique art quilts! It's very colorful and well written. She covers the basics of applique and embroidery stitches using several delightful projects. This would be a great gift for the young girl or anyone just becoming interested in creating art quilts!

Not only does this book have some wonderful projects but it offers some great tips. The projects are full of detail and color. Inspires me with my mind is running away with ideas of my own.

Arrived quickly in excellent condition...like new! The book is a total blast! Talk about inspiration-over the top. Great patterns and instructions-no two could ever look alike & that’s totally the fun of it.

I saw this book in a quilt shop window and just had to have it.I am excited to make some story quilts for my grandchildren.Excellent condition, easy to follow instruction. Beautiful book!

If you get bored doing the same things over and over again, you will love this book. Each project has applique, machine stitching, hand and/or machine embroidery, and anything else you might like to add. I don't think you could make a mistake -- it would probably just enhance the end product. Also, it would be great for taking in a car or riding a bus as you would only have to take a few sewing items. It's great fun!! Also, a good way to use up scraps of fabric and embroidery threads.

I didn't realize fusible applique meant no sewing. For others like myself, it appears to mean that you just fuse pieces together or on top of one another with interfacing. Seams like a great project book for those interested in a simplified technique, but it's not what I'm looking for and would like to clarify that for others like myself to help them avoid making the same mistake.

This is a fantastic book full of inspiration and ideas with the added bonus of patterns to follow the quilt designs in the book, or to create your own designs.

Dies ist wirklich ein sehr hübsches Büchlein, mit liebevollen Quilts, allesamt bestickt, und allesamt sehr farbenfroh!Hier findet man ausnahmslos Werke, die herausstechen. Und allesamt sind sie wunderhübsch! Das Buch ist eine pure Inspirationsquelle!Für jedes der vorgestellten Arbeiten gibt es selbstverständlich eine Anleitung. Die Anleitungen sind alle ausführlich und leicht nachzuarbeiten, und auch die Stickstiche (und alles nötige Wissen für die Herstellung dieser Quilts) werden sehr schön erklärt.Besonders für Quilter und Quilterinnen geeignet, die Farben lieben. Nach der Lektüre dieses Büchleins muss man sich einfach an die Maschine setzen und loslegen!Ich schaue mir dieses Büchlein auch sehr gerne einfach mal so an, es macht einfach so viel Spaß, sich die schönen Arbeiten anzuschauen. Und dann male ich mir meine eigenen Variationen aus...Einfach nur schön!

Beautiful book. It has full size templates for the trees, houses and everything else. I'm looking forward to making the little house on the front cover, and the lighthouse that is inside the book. The instructions are very clear, so for a beginner like me, it is very helpful.
