My cat likes, it so I'm happy. I had him on a much more expensive food before, but I had to cut some costs. This was a winner.

I found out about this breed when I worked at a cat shelter. We fed this to all of our adult cats. I have been feeding it to both of my theree year old cats their whole lives. They love it. I've never had a bad bag. The price is about middle of the road for cat food, but well worth it for the quality. We will continue to feed this food to our cats.

My vet recommended it and my cat loves it

This was a favorite cat food because of the high protein content and ingredients list. Unfortunately, two of my cats began vomiting this food up, after years of eating it. Had they not, it would still be the only dry cat food I would buy.

This is a great food. I've used it for years, and I've never had a cat or dog, turn their nose away from this brand nor have my friend's pets that I've recommended it too. All my animals have healthy coats, and have lived extremely long lives - my cat lived 20 years, my Doberman lived 13 years when they only average 8, my Akita, I lost at age16 when they average only 12 years, and I got her when she was already 4. My vets always seem impressed with my animal's health, and when I mention Wellness, they say, "that explains it." It can be pricey to buy a single bag, but in the long run, you feed less per pound than cheaper brands so it usually costs about the same or less depending on what you buy if you do the math. I've also recently added freshly cooked meats and sweet potatoes to my pet's regular diets for variety, and they still eat their Wellness dry food with no issues.

From the ingredient list, this is an overall healthy cat food. There are no cheap and unhealthy fillers/carbs like tapioca starch, oatmeal, corn or soy. Cats do not require these at all in any amount as they only cause health issues in the long term. My cat loves it and every time I open the bag he comes to me purring. Unfortunately the price has doubled since I bought it and is now unaffordable so I will have to look elsewhere. It's really too bad because this was the only cat food I could find with decent ingredients that is grain free and low carb at a reasonable price. I'm sure it's inflation but I just didn't expect the cost to jump this much. Otherwise I'd give it a 5 star rating.
