Amazing design - Secure and easy setup
I have an HTC ONE M8. At first the mount seemed too small. It stretches enough, and fits secure and tight enough where you don't have to worry about your phone. I was worried at first, but I've gone multiple rides and almost 150 miles and so far no problems at all. The entire mount might wiggle a bit here and there over long stretches of bumpy road, but it is in no danger of falling off or sliding to the side. The rubber might wear out over time? Too early to say, and seems fine so far. This is a great phone mount, and it's so easy to setup and take off your bike. Huge selling point for me since I didn't want to use a bracket mount that would be on my bike all the time. Glad I took the chance on this and would recommend it to anyone looking for a phone mount.

The best (and only) bike mount design that works - take it from an engineer
I've tried every type of smartphone bike mount on Amazon, including the newer designs that have the additional webbing to hold your phone in. None secured my phone longer than 10 miles. This one, however, has kept my phone solid in place for 400 miles, much of it rough terrain (and my hybrid has no suspension). The problem with the "clamp"-style phone holders is that they're made of plastic and metal. These hard materials directly transfer road shock to your phone, causing it to bounce out. Even with the multicolored rubber webbing the manufacturers have added to improve security, your phone will still violently jerk around. At best, it makes your phone unusable and unreadable in motion. The reason Bone's design is so superior and works so well is that it's entirely made of a silicone composite that ABSORBS shock. Even over the roughest terrain, my phone has barely jiggled. I can even read texts at speed. I've seen concerns that the cradle looks too stretched out with a big phone inserted, but I have a big phone with an even bigger case and I've had no issues. A+ design and value. The only phone holder I recommend.

Better for Golf Cart
This was horrible for mountain bike usage. The phone rattled against the goose neck, too much banging for the phone. I gave up on it for a very long time till today. I tried it out when golfing. It worked perfectly. Very easy to put on square bar and held tight. I will use this for golfing all the time now, so much more convenient when using the yardage app. Plus half the price of the ones made for golfing.

Surprisingly Well Designed and Built!
I pulled this out of the box and immediately thought I messed up and didn't see how this thing could possibly work for its intended purpose. I didn't even think it would survive the fitting. Boy, was I wrong. First of all, the installation on the handlebar stem is ridiculously simple and strong--I've done several rides and it hasn't even moved. I don't know if in time it will stretch a bit and require re-adjusting, but so far, after one plus month, it is holding firm. Secondly, I also did not think the straps that hold the phone, would, well, hold the phone. Again, I have to admit, that the quality of the silicone is such that not only does it hold the phone in place, it holds it securely, and vibration-free. For a product I thought that I'd be returning the second I saw it, to actually using it--I have to say, this is a great product at this price, and certainly for my use.

Functional, but that's it
Holds phone onto bike in the most basic, simple way possible. Phone is going to rattle over every single bump and you will here it happening. I'm up in the air about the material. Although it seems artist enough, it changes color at the stress and stretch points, which one always seen as a trait of cheapness. To sum up, I'm still in the market for a phone mount.

Worked awesome on my 100 mile century ride!
I used this mount on the carbon fiber stem of my Scott Foil during a 100 mile Century ride this past weekend to monitor distance, cadence, speed and heart rate via Strava. My phone is an Essential PH-1 (5.57 x 2.80 x 0.31 in) and it fit snugly and securely with my phone's case still on. There is a raised section on the backside of the mount that keeps the phone raised off the stem so it should clear most stem posts. The silicone material is somewhat stretchy which allows for some dampening of vibrations. The silicon material also provides friction/traction against your bike so that it does not move or slide around on you. My only wish is that there was a full black version as most of the components on my bike are black, but the dark blue mount was dark enough to blend in with the black steering components on my bike. Really a fantastic product for the price!

Well made, functional, accurate description - recommended
Follow up: About a year after the review below, with moderate use road cycling, cracks were observed in the rubberized material. I donโt think I stretched it beyond intended purpose. Would have expected it to last longer. Have since transitioned to a purpose-specific case/mount combo. Previous review unedited: Well made, and serves the basic purpose well. The description is accurate when reminding you to measure clearance from stem screws, etc. I measured before I ordered, realized that clearance wasn't enough, but ordered anyway and hoped for the best. Good news: my phone ends up resting on the screws top and bottom, but is not in a position that scratches camera or anything else on the phone. One negative is that the strap blocks the home button on my iPhone. Makes it more difficult to use Strava and Wahoo apps on screen during rides. An inconvenience, but not a deal breaker for how I use it. (Am learning about the trade-offs of using a smartphone as your cycling computer.) I recommend this phone holder.

Steady, lightweight and looks nice!
Been using this for a few weeks with a galaxy S8 with a heavy duty cover on, locked on my road bike, so not sure how it handles on a mountain bike. Comments so far: - use a phone cover, since the rubber may stay on top of the sensors if the phone is "naked" - it's perfect to use with Samsung's always on display - not the best for picture taking since you loose time taking it out, putting it back... but that's not the purpose of it anyways - only shakes when I'm passing over rail tracks or a big pothole, but nothing that may compromise the phone or a chance for it to fall... - the placement is perfect, probably the main reason why it is so steady

great product
everything is super great for this although it says it is compatible with cases they are refering to the bery slim plastic case this will not work on an otterbox case. but other then that its super secure and not having a case while strapped in worry me not.

Has the quality of a expensive phone mount but for cheaper.
It keeps my phone it place on my road bike with some wobbles but then I tightened it and it didn't wobble any more, very easy to install and get my phone in and out of! Overall a great phone holder for a pretty cheap price! Definitely recommend it.

Great phone holder for your bike!
The product is smaller than expected. Some how fit my S7 Edge. Only time will tell is it will break from stretching. Edit: Two year later and this holder is still going strong! Now holding my S20 FE. The best holder Iver ever owned. This thing has gone through multiple crashes and a lot of single track riding.

3 thumbs up.
Good product, fits on my bike but it keeps sliding down on the handlebars every time I hit a jump.
