Zojirushi (ZOJIRUSHI) Water Bottle Direct Drinking [One-Touch Open] Stainless Steel Mug 480ml Navy SM-SF48-AD

Bought this on the basis of reviews. Heat retention is way better than my Yeti rambler which by mid afternoon after filling up in the morning is going luke warm. This Zojirushi is about the same volume of liquid internally but has some major advantages. 1: keeps hot ALL day even after nearly half drunk 2: is slimmer/narrower body that fits into my back pocket (sticking out the top) as well as my van side door etc 3: It has a lid that flips open at the press of a button (has sliding locking switch to prevent unwanted opening) Keep dust in my workshop out of the mouth piece (unlike the Yeti which you get a mouthful of dust) (I am a Carpenter) 4: it is much lighter than the Yeti mug so would be acceptable to take walking / camping / backpacking 5: it easy to clean as the head part comes apart into pieces The only negatives is its hard to get inside to clean as its narrow but a bottle brush sorted this. Also I'm not sure how much it would take an impact if it fell while full onto concrete? Hope i don't find out because i really like this mug. Some people have said that you can't chug quickly out of it because of the drinking spout - not what you want for hot coffee anyway. But for cold it pours well like a regular flask again unlike the Yeti mug which doesn't pour as it goes down the side if you want to share your drink. Worth the money - i payed £28 for the blue one but for some reason the other colours were insanely expensive so beware.

Was looking for a mug to take into work but that can also be used as a water bottle when taken with me on travels. Out of all reviews this brand kept coming up. You will see other brands boast 4hrs heat retention, 6hrs etc. This has surprised me. I made hot chocolate in the morning, poured some in a cup and the rest in this mug. I went out and 13hrs later, the hot chocolate was hot, not warm, not luke warm but hot. It still had that burning sensation on your lips. My room was slightly cold around 18-19 degrees. The fact it can maintain the temperature is very nice and removes the worry of if you would have a cold or hot drink after x amount of hours. The bottle being slim is a bonus. Easy to carry and easy to put into pockets. The little hatch on the lid is really good and it has a lock to prevent accidental opening of the bottle. The lid being magnetic is also a bonus, when drinking the lid stays open so it doesn't flap onto you when taking a drink. I only had it for a week so I cannot comment on the durability but so far everything is all good.

Bought this on a recommendation so did not do any research on its capabilities prior to buying. It was a great recommendation and I now pass that on. It’s nice and slim so doesn’t take up too much room in my bag. The lid locks however even without the lock on it has not accidentally opened at all and so no leaks have happened. It’s easy to drink from and doesn’t drip. Finally and most importantly, never have I known a flask to keep my tea so hot for so long! Even with the lid open for a lot of the time so it’s ready to drink it stays hot enough to drink for approximately eight hours for me so if I’d closed the lid over after each drink I’m presume it would stay hotter for even longer. I’m sure there are cheaper options out there but I would honestly say this one is worth every penny

Have used it atleast twice to four times a week for about a year. Drinks stay warm or cold for over 5 hours if not longer. Has never leaked, has been on site with me and still looks in great condition. I really like the outlet you can get a good swig and its so easy to clean. If i lost it I would buy another straight away

When I received this I thought I had been sent the wrong size as it is so much smaller than every other flask I've had in the past of similar capacity. But no it's just surprisingly very compact. I must say i'm extremely impressed with this product so far. Drinks stay hot for hours and hours, even if I forget to close the lid it still retains heat. This is absolutely the best travel flask for heat retention that I've had. Also build quality is excellent and the lid part strips down easily to clean the seals. Does not leak when closed and lid can be locked/unlocked easily using one hand. Would thoroughly recommend!!

Second one of these, having previously bought one for my wife. Having had numerous water bottles from the top makes, this is undoubtedly the most effective in keeping water cold, in my opinion. It has a locking mechanism to prevent accidental opening, which is ideal if you want to carry it in, say, a rucksack. It is a very slender bottle, so easy to get your hand round it, which is just as well, as it doesn't have a carry handle. Can be used one-handed, which is useful for use when driving. Probably the only feature lacking is a rubber boot (as available with Hydro Flask as accessory), to both protect the edges of the bottom, and to reduce 'clank' when placing on a hard surface. Buy it for performance and ease of use. Beats Hydro Flask, Chilly, Yeti, Owala, Thermos.

I buy this for everyone I know and I recommend to everyone looking for a proper water bottle! It holds water hot or cold for 24 hours, I was amazed when I bought my first Zojirushi! You know when you forget your water bottle in the car in the scorching summer? You go back to your car and sip out of your bottle and it's still cold! Brilliant!
