I review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I'm writing will influence for or against the purchase. I try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I end the review with an answer as to whether I'd purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know! It would seem different body physiology dictates which allergy meds work best for individuals. This one works best for me and I love the 12-hour version. I no longer get the 24-hour tablets because of the effectiveness fade that happens around 8-10 hours. These 12 hour tabs allow me to space out the applications for maximum impact and take then when/as needed. These are a staple that I always have on hand and, as such, will keep buying.

One of several allergy meds in my rotation. Works great, But EXP date too soon!!!

I have tried various antihistamines, and the following is what I discovered. Loratadine is by far the worst antihistamine. It can take six or more hours for it to take effect. And the directions say to only take one, but I always have to take two because they are so weak. I threw my Loratadine pills away. Cetirizine is supposed to be non-drowsy, but it is not. I always end up sleeping an extra twenty hours the following day, after a full night's rest. I had to throw them away because of this reason. I read that it only makes some people drowsy and only after it has accumulated in your body, but I never took them before my entire life so I don't understand why it makes me that drowsy. I never took Levocetirizine, but it is basically the same thing as Cetirizine so I would not take it either. Fexofenadine works great. They come in 60 mg and 180 mg pills. I take the 60 mg pills and they work really fast and are really effective. And they don't make me drowsy at all. And if one pill isn't enough, it should be safe to take a second or third pill, considering how they also come in 180 mg pill strength. I prefer to take 60 mg pills when needed instead of taking the 180 mg pills. I have no experimented with Acrivastine but don't need to because Fexofenadine works great. Acrivastine is supposed to work faster than any other antihistamine but it only provides relief for 4-6 hours instead of an entire day. It could be good though.

I have used a lot of others, but I do not know how the are reacting with the chemical makeup of my body. I like them because they do not overly dry me out like almost every single other ones. On one or two days, they did not last as long. Overall, I like these better than all the others. They are smaller pills, and they do not dry me out like all the others. I will take the one or two days over the massive horse pills and feeling like a desert.
