Will both the black and red fit into a 1/2 inch split wire tubing?

No problem, just a pain to do it for any appreciable length.

would this be good wire for 24 volt trolling motor power ?

Yes, this wire will work just fine for a 24 volt trolling motor. That's exactly what I used this wire for. A 24 volt Terrova. I had a 20 foot run. Works great

Can these cables be used as earth ground in engine bay and take the heats?

Since it's CCA it is not recommended for that specific use. Our bundled power wire set is great for a car amplifier or subwoofer or to be used as a ground wire on your electric wire installs. You can still use it for various applications such as indoor lighting, car radio, automotive, lighting, car speakers, power cables, 12v power inverter, ground wire, or welding cable.
