These flash cards have been extremely helpful in my medical transcription course. Containing prefixes, suffixes and combining forms, these cards are indispensible in review. I pull the cards that correspond with each chapter's term list and have them ready for quiz time. Flash cards have always been helpful for me and these are very comprehensive. I have found very few terms in my book that are not included in the card set. I would recommend these for any medical or nursing student.

I love how easy this was to use, once I figured out where everything was placed, it's organized into body systems on the backs and glossary terms on the front.

great use for those who are in the medical field!

I bought this to use in a very basic non collegiate medical class. I thought I was getting flashcards that had a medical term on the front with a definition on the back. The majority are just parts of terminology, suffixes, prefixes, roots. The problem is that some of the terms such as "albumin" just repeat the word as the definition on the back. What my students need is to know the definition of albumin, not the fact that albumin in medical records stands for albumin. (??)

These cards have helped me sooo much. I'm starting a certificate program for medical coding, and I bought these flash cards for my medical terminology class. It saves money buying blank note cards and saves time not having to write down each term. I really recommend these flash cards to anyone having trouble remembering medical terms. I read the product details before I purchased. the product details on Amazon are very attractive, and it seems very easy to use but turn out, it's very hard to navigate the abbreviation. it's very confusing to look at. I am not very happy with this product and not recommend for those who just step into the medical field. In order for you to use this Medical Terminology & Abbreviations, you MUST already know and expert in medical field to understand what's written in these 21 pages.

I love these flashcards. I have found the best way for me to use them is to find the words I have to study that week, and put them into a card holder this way I can see the word flip the page and have the answer. By putting them into a card holder it protects the cards so I will have them for a long time coming.
