I have to say the ISDT C4 EVO AA &AAA BATTERY CHARGER is amazing with my 4s lipo battery it will charge my 1s lipo for my 12th scale on-road car at the track for the price its a great investment

I own so many kinds of battery chargers and this one is the best. I like Nitecore chargers, but they give you very limited control of the charging parameters. This charger will work automatically if you don't care about the settings, but I prefer to charge my batteries at 1C or slower rates and this charger let's me set it exactly how I want it. It also graphs the charging process so that you can estimate the battery's health. I love that this charger has a cooling fan because that will extend its life. This charger will also discharge batteries and refresh them. If you fast charge batteries at higher amps then I recommend getting a nice USB power source that is rated for it so that you don't overheat your low amp wall charger. I have not had any problems at all, but a while back I thought my Great Planes Triton R/C charger was broken, but it ended up being the Pyramid 12 volt power supply that I was powering it with did not produce enough amps to charge my 5,000mah battery packs at the rates that I wanted. I'm telling you this because I would hate for you to underpower this charger and then think it's broken if it pops up with an error on the screen. I highly recommend buying this charger!

Best battery charger. It has a lot of features that allow you to check the battery health, so you can discard the bad ones.

Rating 4 stars. Overall this charger works well with almost every battery type I can throw at it. However I had to do a firmware update for it because it was shipped with buggy firmware, it was easy to update, all you have to do is google the model number and then type firmware update, don’t pay attention to what other reviews say about how hard it is to update the firmware, I don’t know why it’s so difficult for many users. With that said, the other issue that came up is that all the options (the list of functions) you see in the advertisement doesn’t exist in the menu, it’s either charge or destroy. I had no idea why destroy would be an option, but it’s actually the discharge function. The manual isn’t well understood, I pretty much had to press buttons and figure out what does what. Once I hit everything memorized, all is good now.

This works perfect to charge my 18650 and 21700 cells in my flashlight just make sure you have a hi power usb c brick to run it as I see 3 amps going to the 21700 cells. It will hold 2 21700 or 2 18650

I bought the iSDT C4 EVO to manage several batteries at a time, but the experience has been disappointing. 1.Multi-bay charging takes too many steps. If I insert 2–4 batteries simultaneously, starting charging on all bays requires repeated button clicks and menu navigation. This is tedious compared with chargers that let you start all bays quickly. 2.Temperature monitoring is not battery temperature. The display appears to show the charger’s internal temperature rather than the batteries’ actual temperature. I’ve noticed batteries becoming very hot to touch while the screen still reports temperatures below ~40°C. That mismatch makes me question the usefulness of the temperature feature and raises safety concerns. If iSDT improves the “start all bays” workflow and adds real battery temperature sensing (or clearly labels it as internal temp), this would be a much better product.

Excellent charger... when they work. I have three of these C4 EVOs, and two of them had the screens go dark after a couple months. One appears to still function to charge my batteries, but I have no way of knowing when they are done and can't change settings with blank screens. I also have their Air8 charger which has a touch screen that inconsistently doesn't work for all the buttons. I'm done with ISDT, spend your money elsewhere.
