Got the six and three shelf versions for the area behind our stove. Very happy with the industrial look. The six shelf went together with no problem but had to cut about 3/4 inch off the bottom shelf to make it fit. Since it was actual wood, no problem. The pipes are about 3/4 inch and screw together easily. The three shelf version came with 1/2 inch pipe and was not as sturdy. Be careful of cross threading when screwing together. Both shelves came with hardware to install into drywall but i chose to use my own wood screws and aligned the mounts with wall studs so it is very solid. Overall, i love the look and more importantly the wife is happy too. Both shelves are great. Just be careful putting together the three shelf…once i messed up, i went full plummer, dropped my trousers an appropriate amount and used my wrenches to make sure the fittings were properly cinched down.

I have a smaller house and I have always dreamed of a pantry. Once I saw these I knew they would be perfect in my mud room as a make shift pantry. I got two and I’m already going to get a third one for my living room. Easy to put together and real steel pipes and wood shelves. Sure the steel is thinner than the steel pipes you would get at a hardware store BUT it’s still sturdy. This is by far cheaper than purchasing everything separately and you still get the same great product! Some people are saying that there is a white-ish tinge to the wood and yes it does BUT you could easily flip the boards and get a less white colored wood. The boards are literally lightly white stained but it still looks good! And honestly if you want something darker, you could easily stain them. DEFINITELY get them.

I absolutely LOVE this shelving unit! It is sturdy and very aesthetically pleasing. I have a very small laundry room - space for only a washer and dryer. This unit is perfect for my laundry supplies and leaves just enough room for me to stand in front and load my washer. The depth of the unit is 10 inches - the planks are pretty much flush with the wall. In all honesty, I was reluctant to purchase this based upon reviews of assembly. Assembly instructions were included in my order, though the most important part is the picture of assembly. Pay close attention to how the fittings (connector joints) sandwich each wood plank. I followed another reviewer’s suggestion and laid each pipe side by side to match up the lengths. There were slight variations from pipe to pipe, but I was able to match each one to another of the same size. There are 10 pipe pieces, so you will have 5 sets. It’s important to match them up, if you want the shelves as level as possible. Each of the 10 longer pipes come with a fitting, or connector joint, already attached. The instructions do not state this, BUT you need to unscrew the connector joint and screw it onto the other end of the pipe it is already attached to. Tighten all pieces, by hand, before matching the lengths. After this, assembly is easy peasy short and breezy! The only mistake I made (totally my fault) was mixing up the placement of the pipe pieces at the top where it angles to anchor to the wall. There are two short and two slightly longer pieces. The shorter ones connect to the connector on top of the top shelf. The longer ones go from the corner joint to the wall anchor piece. I accidentally reversed them and quickly discovered there was about an inch gap when placing the unit up against the wall to anchor it. I switched the pieces and all was right with the world. After placing the unit EXACTLY where I wanted it, I used a pencil to mark the holes, moved the unit aside, and drilled. This was seriously one of the easiest things I have ever assembled! Like others have said, there is no need to anchor this unit to the floor, though there are holes and screws to do so. I have already recommended this product to a good friend who is looking for shelving for a small space. If I can find a place to put another one somewhere in my house, I will totally buy another without reservation!

1) I ordered this on Monday with a delivery day of Thursday. It was delivered early afternoon the next day! 2) It was soo easy to put together. I did it myself in 10 minutes! 3) It doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. It fit perfectly in my narrow space in the bathroom. Shelving space is the perfect amount for me and my husband. 4) This shelf, matching industrial toilet paper holder, industrial hooks, new medicine cabinet, new paint color, and new hotel style shower curtain really transformed my tiny master bathroom into a spa-like sanctuary. A makeover for under $500 without an expensive remodel! Note: When measuring your space, consider adding the height of each shelf as well in addition to the 12” height between shelves. Luckily for me, I needed the 4th shelf level to clear my light switch...and it did!

We purchased 2 of these shelves for our small MCM ranch and they fit right in with the aesthetic. The slim profile is so much nicer than boxy wooden bookshelves and they were easy to install and appear to be super sturdy. We haven’t even gotten our books on them yet, but they are so nice!

I bought this a while ago and only just put it up. It was perhaps the easiest bookshelf I've ever put together. Would recommend having a second person around, as the shelf will not stay up on its own until it is anchored. The package comes with enough screws to mount the bookshelf to both the floor and wall. I did not anchor mine to the floor and it is still very sturdy. The end result is a beautiful piece of furniture which I'm very happy with.

I love this shelf. I have a strangely shaped kitchen and pantry. After I had my house tiled I had taken off the old wooden folding doors from my pantry and realized how much more open my small kitchen is with the tile and removing the doors. So I removed all of the old shelving and the door tracks, painted everything and wanted a nice shelf that would look great sitting in my kitchen. I have a rustic, industrial look in my home and this shelf is perfect. It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble. It is real wood and real metal. It is heavy duty and beautifully made. It is exactly what I wanted for my pantry and this project. Buy this shelf. You will not regret it.

I was worried it wouldn't be strudy enough for books, but it is and I love the look. You can do it as one person, but I'd suggest 2 people just to hold it against the wall while anyther one is screwing it in and such. Even without being in a 2x4 and just using the plastic screw locks, it's still sturdy. They give you enough screws and plastic locks to screw the top and bottom, but we only screwed in the top as we didn't want to ruin out hardwood floors. If you are scared about that, just add a bracket at the bottom. Shelves had a different style on each side so you could choose the look you want and it's nice, easy and straightforward.

This is a great shelving system and aesthetically pleasing. Sturdy and easy to assemble. I may stain or paint the shelves to match the furniture and the wood shelves lend themselves to doing that easily. I have since re-arranged my discs and added some other small things to the shelves, to balance it out better. Holding my cd collection (550). I did secure to the wall with the screws and anchors that were included, but I won't secure to the floor (hardwood) and it is still pretty secure. There's nice detail to the piping if you look closely.

Love this bookcase ! At first I was hesitant if I should or shouldn’t order it as there were some good and not so good reviews. Decided to take a chance as I loved the look of this unit and I was not disappointed. So easy to assemble and mount to the wall. Looks so slick, modern not too rustic and goes perfect with my decor. Wood shelves could be easily repainted or restained if somebody decides to change the look. I do not plan to put any heavy items on it, but the bookcase is sturdy to carry load of books and any like items. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

This shelf is just what I was looking for, the price was definitely right and it was delivered very quickly. Unfortunately I had a problem with one of the pipes being a bit short and I was unable to assemble it, but I contacted the supplier and they immediately shipped me two more parts (an extra just in case). Super easy to put together and good customer service from the supplier.
