Works perfectly, had it programmed to the vehicle and the old lost one cancelled. Freelander 2 All the buttons work. There is a blank key blade ready to be cut in there as well.

They dont last for ever but long enough and you can buys lots compared too a genuine so makes sense........its just a quick program not a big deal then works great.

Works well with autel coder

A decent alternative to far more expensive replacement keys for a Freelander 2, comes with the internals ready for programming to your car and at a fraction of the price of an OEM item, worth having as a spare if you have lost/damaged your originals, will see how long it lasts and update as necessary. I programmed the key using an Autel AP200 OBD adaptor costing £46 so in total a brand new spare key ended up costing me just under £63 and I can now make up to 20 or so spares at £16.99 a go using the adaptor and app, well worth the outlay and takes about 10 minutes to reprogram a set of keys.

This land rover key is a very simple plastic key which comes with a blank, the keys plastic case gives it rugged lightweight characteristics. The actual blank is easy to cut and fits into the slot. The key is easy to use at close range and the id46 chip can be easily programmed to allow you to start the car. The buttons are clear however they do feel a bit stiff and the reduced surface area can sometimes cause some pain when pressing them, although this does prevent them from being accidentally pressed.

One did not work to open doors other packed in after 4 months complete rubbish don't buy

Ordered 2 remotes programmed them today and both start the car but only one operates the central locking. Tested the RF output and one remote is faulty
