Does the top close with a zipper?

No....it is an open bag that hold everything, but does not close. This bag is good for a second tote for medications; lunch, snacks, makeup, but not money or wallets. Cell phones should be carried in a side purse you use with your wallet. Other than all of the above, it is a strong tote for the items I mentioned.

Can I iron on patches to this?

Thanks for your question. You can iron it on patches.

Can you put it in the dryer after it’s been washed?

You can I wash mine and dry it all the time

Is this bag sturdy enough to carry a 40oz hydro flask? I need a bag to carry it because i’m always dropping it lol

Thanks for your question. Please rest assured to use our bag to hold your hydro flask. Our bag is made of high-quality fabric, and we use double-layer stitching to ensure its practicality and durability. If there are any issues with your bag, you can contact us at any time to return or exchange it. ALUWU
