OEM For Honda 2006 EX
taking my damn old oem belt off was hard enough but fitting this thing was hell. All because I didn’t have a longer bar for the belt tensioner for slack to put it on. USE A LONG BAR TO HAVE AS MUCH ROOM TO PUT BELT ON. I struggled all night got a longer reach bar with a 19mil socket wrench it was BUTTER.

Yes its good look no further
I inspected it before installation and it looks the same quality as OEM belt. It fits ok on my honda civic 2006 LX.

Works great for a 2006 Honda Civic EX Sedan
Purchased for 2006 Honda Civic EX Sedan with 1.8 liter 4 cylinder. This belt works great and was the same length as the belt on the car. Make a diagram of the belt path or take a picture of the path of the old belt before removing. I found some references on the internet that did not have the correct path. I think Honda had a recall on the Civics to change the belt path. I purchased this car used so was not sure if the recall modification had been done. When I tried to put the belt on as the internet diagram on the Autozone website the belt was "too long". Found the correct path mentioned on another website (do not have the actual web address any more) and the belt worked great. When removing the old belt by releasing tension on the hydraulic belt tension be sure to apply pressure slowly to avoid damage to the hydraulic mechanism.

Belt fits for 2006 Honda Civic new belt diagram.
Following the new belt diagram for 2006 Honda Civic, and the belt was a little difficult to wrap over the alternator pulley due to the length of it.

Not “OEM quality”
This belt is not a true OEM replacement. The original belt has a cloth/fabric fibers feel to it on the smooth side, whereas this one is a rubber finish. Sounds dumb, but it will eventually cause random misfires at idle due to it skipping off pulleys.

It fits 2006 Civic with AC
I bought a more expensive belt from Continental that was impossible for me to get onto the alternator. Before taking it into a shop I thought to try the OEM brand Honda uses. It is a few millimeters longer than the one I bought. Still tough to get on, but not impossible!

Does not fit 2008 Sienna
Advertised as a fit for 2008 sienna but does not fit. Too long by about 3 inches even with tensioner maxed out.
