Mens Women Fishing Hat UPF 50+ Wide Brim Sun Hat with Face Cover & Neck Flap

As a medical aesthetician, protecting my skin from the sun is extremely important to me. I also have two little dogs that I walk every day, so I wanted something that would give me excellent sun protection without having to apply sticky sunscreen for a quick 30-minute walk, only to come home and wash it off. This hat is absolutely perfect! It’s lightweight, comfortable, and much more attractive in person than it appears in the photos. The face shield is incredibly convenient—you don’t even have to remove it. It simply snaps into place, slides on and off easily, and stays secure. One thing I wanted to mention is the strap shown across the front in the product photos. I removed mine because I don’t feel it’s necessary for everyday use. Unless you’re on a windy boat or in very windy conditions, the hat stays on just fine without it. Another feature I love is that the back provides great coverage for my hair, helping protect my hair color from fading in the sun. If you’re looking for lightweight, comfortable, and effective sun protection that actually looks great, I highly recommend this hat!

Love it. Got it on sale for $7 the size is nice even for those with a large head. The attachable string is garbage though the clips won't even stay on. Blocks sun well and does provide a decent cooling action when wet. You can also fold it up and store it in a bag quite easily.

4 stars for the neck flap and face shield. minus one star for brim is a little small and the fastener for the chin strap broke on first use. I just pulled a MacGyver and threaded it though the slots and tied a small knot. It is a little flimsy, but a good concept. If your looking for durable and long lasting you may need to shop around and be prepared to spend a bit more. Over all, the hat does provide protection from the sun. I think it will get me through the summer.

I needed a hat like this to protect me from the sun during a roof sealing project. This hat covered all my protection needs, head, neck, and face. The quality is good for the price so I recommend it.

This hat very good. It’s nice not too tight. It’s really nice. I like to cover around me. I’ll have to see how it works out there in the sun when I get to fishing with it probably follow up with an update but so far I like it and the price you can’t beat.

Ok hat. Biggest issue is that the strap button to tighten/loosen the elastic around the head didn't work. It was just open at all times. I had to just tie a knot in it to get it to stay on my head in windy conditions.

I am sensitive to pressure and my head is on the middle-to-large side so I don't like most hats, but this one fits comfortably and it has a bit of give to it too, which is nice. I got this for gardening, but it was also really great to have on a recent road trip. Lightweight, flattens completely. I got the light gray color and it is just a little darker than I was expecting but it's still light enough that after sitting in the direct sun for a few hours it still didn't feel very warm to the touch, which is awesome. The stitching quality is a little bit on the cheap side, but it's not something you would notice without close inspection. I foresee some small hand sewing repairs in my future, because I think I will be wearing this a lot. The front mask snaps on with a total of 4 snaps, 2 on each side. It's very well-designed to prevent gaps at the sides, so it protects the sides of the neck from direct light as well. The mask also helps hold down the back flap when it gets windy to keep it from flapping around and revealing your neck skin to the sun. I found it was very easy to wear my sunglasses with this hat, and also to place my sunglasses on top of the hat on my head because the hat itself is so thin.
