Awesome feel when turning and also love the short run they have in the turn

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, EXCELLENT ADDITION TO MY GUTIAR
I'm an electrical engineer by trade. I've been building electronics for years and buying quality potentiometers for under a dollar for many years but when it comes to my guitars I'm willing to spend more to get that extra 10% of quality. I recently replaced the volume pot in my Gibson Flying V with one of these Smooth Turning Seymour Duncan pots, it was a hassle to change it out but the old one was less than smooth turning. It took around an hour to disassemble the guitar, harvest the old pot and then solder in the new one, not really work that I enjoy, I'd much rather be playing the guitar. Well it was certainly worth the effort, the new pot definitely lives up to its name, it's very smooth turning and yes it was $10 but that's a small price to pay to have your axe to be tuned for a little better performance. In this case it's a physical characteristic since the pot itself is just a variable resister, the action of the pot is very easy to turn, I love it. Tonewise it does not suck, sounds great, silent, no noise and easy to rotate, I put a Stratocaster knob on it because I'm very accustomed to that knob. Highly recommended if you need a better volume or tone control. Good music to all!

Ultra-smooth taper and zero friction—the perfect upgrade for high-performance guitars
First Impressions & Installation: These 500k volume pots are incredibly well-made with solid construction and clean, easily solderable lugs. The high-speed design has noticeably less turning resistance than standard factory pots, allowing for effortless pinky swells and lightning-fast volume adjustments. Pros: True High-Speed Taper: Perfect for players who love quick volume or tone roll-offs. It turns smoothly with almost zero friction, making volume swells feel completely effortless. Excellent Audio Taper: The sweep is incredibly linear and predictable. There are no sudden volume drops or dead spots—just a clean, gradual roll-off from 10 down to 1. Zero Tone Loss: It retains all the top-end clarity and bite you expect from a premium 500k pot, making it an excellent match for high-output humbuckers. Cons: Very Loose Feel: If you prefer a stiffer, heavily dampened pot that stays exactly where you bump it, this high-speed design might feel a bit too loose for your playing style. Bottom Line: An absolute must-have if you want a fast, responsive pot for performance techniques. It provides a flawless sweep and exceptional durability, making it a stellar upgrade for any premium electronic overhaul.

Tecnicamente correcto.
Buen producto, responde bien al oído.. se nota ese cambio entre cuanto girar la perilla y cuanto cambia el volumen. Para los dedos no hay mucha diferencia.

Easy replacement, more highs than a 250K
Great product. Swapped out my 250K pot for this thing after replacing my single coil pickup to a hot rail to get more highs and treble for the pickup since it was too dark initially. Very easy to install, just remember to set the height properly otherwise your knob will stick out.

Great Pots
These are really good pots. They work well and have a good spec. I've used these for a couple of years now and never had a problem. I also like their smooth turn feel. They cost a little more than other pots, but to me, they're worth it. And it's hard to go wrong with Seymour Duncan products.
