My grandson wanted this so that he could easily carry his high school ID badge/card while at school. I also ordered the clear plastic badge holders so that he could put his ID badge/card in the holder because it doesn't have a hole punched in it. He doesn't put the lanyard around his neck - although he could. He prefers to put the badge/card in his pocket and let the lanyard strap hang down his leg so that the images on the strap are visible. He absolutely loves it.
