Great addition to my tool box!
Just added this digital tape measure to my tool box last month, and I'm so glad I did! It was my first digital and laser tape measure, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I must say I'm pleased. The digital view is super helpful in getting accurate measures without having to squint and count all the little tick marks to get the exact measurement. I also love the laser part because I can get long measures once without having to fiddle with the tape repeatedly to get it just right, especially if there are things that the tape can get caught on along the way. It also makes it for some good relief for my lower back since it means less bending down to get the tape just right. The buttons and functionality are pretty self explanatory and easy to get used to, so they don't require much of a learning curve. The casing, tape, and build feels solid and like it will be durable in the long run. This is quickly becoming my go-to tape measure for outdoor needs and I'm looking forward to using it more and more for indoor projects as well. Overall, this brings great bang for the buck while feeling like I can use it in a variety of settings and projects. Glad I got one!

Product Review
Pros - Received this tape measure today. I have to give it a 10 out of 10 for ease of use. Right out the box, I would able to figure out how to use it, with no problem (though I did watch the online video). However, I do recommend reading the instructions to understand how to change some settings. Instructions are well laid out and easy to understand. The screen is easy to read for measuring length and with 2 clicks I was able to determine the room area. Also the screen reading is matched to the tape measure for accurate readings. Had to read instructions to determine how to read from back/front of tape measure, but it is easy. Cons - If I were to give it any con, I would say that I miss the crosshair settings that I have seen in other units. And when you switch reference settings to back of unit, it switches back to front when you retract the tape. Would like to have the option for locking settings. Not a major problem because the settings are saved and you can push the unit button to change the reading from front to back or vice versa. Lastly, it would have been nice to have auto lock (tape measure would stay out until you push the retract button). However, you can kind of do this by depressing the lock button about halfway, before you pull the measuring tape out. Summary - The unit feels solid and came fully charged read to use. Can't say more about the unit yet, but I will post more after I have more time to use, but for now I am very impressed.

Outstanding Precision at a Great Price!
The MiLESEEY DT20 Laser Tape Measure 3-in-1 really impressed me. I’ve used measuring tools from well-known brands before, but this one matches or even exceeds their accuracy — and at a fraction of the price. ✅ Unmatched precision: Every measurement I took was spot-on, whether using the laser or the traditional tape. It’s reliable and fast — exactly what I need for both DIY and professional tasks. ✅ Excellent value for money: For the price I paid on Amazon, this device delivers high-end performance without the premium brand markup. It feels solid, works flawlessly, and even looks sleek. ✅ Versatile and easy to use: The 3-in-1 design is super practical. It’s compact, intuitive, and ideal for quick room measurements, furniture placement, or renovation work. 👉 Final verdict: If you want top-tier precision without overpaying, this is the laser tape measure to get. Highly recommended — it’s one of the smartest purchases I’ve made this year!

Grea product! Could use more detailed instructions. Lock knob is more of a "suggestion"!
Overall nice...included instructions lacking. Most videos on "how to..." are for the older unit. Locking knob doesn't really lock. Laser measurement is dead on tho.

It stores the measurements!
This was a gift for my hubby for Christmas. He says it charges up good, makes measuring a room/space with ease. The red beam helps in measuring quickly and provides the small or large measurements w half measurements pretty accurately for flooring, cabinets, carpentry or drywall. He said he is still not sure on the battery charge longevity as he is still learning this tool but will update the review once he uses it more. Light weight to carry, he said time will tell on tape retention, durability and longevity. He really likes the lock feature on the measurement and says it stores the measurement in case he gets side tracked by someone/homeowners/phone calls, etc and forgets the measurement he can pull it back up for his cuts so he doesnt have to go back and remeasure. The display screen is easy read & perfect for quick glance. He said he worries about dropping it and not sure if it would work if it happens but so far so good.

Warranty claim and product features and quality
The measure tape itself is a good product but after been use for a year an half stopped working but after several reached out to the manufacturer they served the warranty period of two years and and waiting for a replacement. I will update later if need it. For now I will recommend it.

For the guy who's a bit nerdy and less handy
Easy tool to use and compact enough to fit in my bag. I leave it in my office space so I dont need to get my heavy duty one. It works for giving me a quick measure of my packages for shipping purchases. The laser is also a fun way to toy around with it for tech geeks (me).

No longer my favorite
My first (by 2 weeks) as a tape measure with a laser measure as well. It was ok, but with my old eyes reading a tape measure (even with multi-focal lenses) can be difficult especially in awkward spaces. So it's 10 months later and up until yesterday my review of five star stood. Yesterday I decided to use this tape measure building my deck which was only a 6x8 deck. The tape measure reader would not function in daylight. It would not give a correct reading when I moved the tape. Either. It didn't read anything or it would only sporadically read and get stuck on a number. When you close the tape measure it would not go back to zero. I thought it was dirty or had something wrong with it. So I pulled the tape out and wiped it with a microfiber cloth. And it seemed to work but I was standing inside my garage out of direct sunlight. If I stepped outside, my garage ended direction like it no longer red properly but then when I stepped 1 ft backwards into the shade it worked properly. This is me completely baffled. I could see if I was using it upside down and somehow light was reflecting into it but that wasn't the case. The one and only advantage this unit has over a much cheaper. Competitor is the ability to read and display digitally the tape. Outside and sunlight, even the laser function wasn't all that fantastic. Simply because the laser light on this unit is compared to the almost half price competitor device that I also have was much dimmer. Not bad if you already see the pointer light, but if you're trying to locate where it is so you can move it into correct position is kind of hard to find if you're in sunlight which is slightly expected because it's bright sunlight. But again the other ones are much easier to find. So if I cannot use this outside, it simply becomes a household or shop tool which reduces it's usefulness. And that's I'm just about to start taking up my woodworking projects again. I'm rethinking the hardiness of this device. I will probably have to keep it in a sealed pouch or container around cutting jobs because now I'm afraid that whatever reads to the table will get dusty no longer function. The two thinks I like most is the large easy to read screen and the digital readout for the physical tape measure. My only concern is that there are marks on the bottom of the tape measure which I assume is how the unit "reads" the tape. I'm worried that repeated use would wear these markings off. Maybe not from retracting back into the tape measure but if it's allowed to drag on materials being measured. The only other thing I might like changed is the leading edge of the tape measure. It's a bit rounded so when trying to line an edge up with it for a measurement it's not always easy to line it up for an accurate read. Much easier to if you have a lip to abut it against. Regardless, I really love this device. So much nicer to bring the tape to me to read than try to bend over to read the tape.

It is value for money
It is intuitive to use and works well. I accidently dropped it from a height of 5 ft onto a hard concrete floor but it still worked fine. It is also pretty accurate and precise. 5 stars overall
