BESTEK Surge Protection Extension Lead, 1.8M 6 Way individual Switch Power Strip Plug Socket with 4 USB Ports (6 Way-White)

I’ve had this extension lead a short amount of time but from the moment I took it out the box I could tell it was of quality construction. It is very well put together. The switches offer a satisfying click when you toggle them and there is no flex or twist in the plastic. I really like the individual switches to toggle the supply to any attached devices and in this day and age the USB ports are a must. I find that my phone charges faster with the ports on this lead than it did with the power adapter if came supplied with! Also, the little sticky template you can use to provide you with locations to drill holes for a wall mounted solution is amazingly useful. If I had to point out a few niggles it is this, for my usage the power lead that comes out the extension board is on the wrong side. I also don’t like the fact that if I were to hang this on the wall the other way the branding would be written upside-down but the other way would mean the USB labels are written upside-down. Overall a very well-constructed product. I am glad I got it, even though it was a tad expensive. Pros + Well constructed + Plenty of sockets + Individually switched. + Longish power lead + Fast charging USB ports + Sticky template included makes it easy to wall mount. Cons - Expensive - No matter which way you hang it, some writing on the product will be the wrong way up

Once you decide to stretch your budget and purchase any of their quality products, you will not be disappointed. Their product hallmarks are stylish, durable, quality assured and safety compliant. Apart from the individual switches for each plug socket, this model has four very useful integrated USB ports that you can use to recharge your mobile or any other USB device instead of using a plug. There is also a feeling of wellbeing when you know you have surge protection against overloading the current. They are easy to affix to the wall by using the guide included in the package. I have been so impressed with their products, I have purchased the 6-way and 4-way versions and await the 3-way and 8-way extension leads, all for different parts of the home and office. They have certainly raised my expectations when purchasing electrical accessories. Again, they are not cheap but this becomes secondary when you know you have bought into quality. No regrets!

Awesome great quality! Well but and do the Job well! Used in a recording studio, we purchased 8 of them for quick setups.

ok, so redone my whole PC desk setup- only changing out my old trusty single switched ikea 3mtr extender for this one so I could switch sockets individually. problem is there is what I assume ground loop interference when this extension is used, which can be heard through USB audio on any and every connection to my PC, making my logitech G pro X (which i've had for a very long time) useless using its included USB Dac. there fix is quite simple- DO NOT USE THIS EXTENDER. even a pound shop special, while only a few ports, doesn't have this interference. this is incredibly disappointing and its not down to any individual socket used or if any of the usb power ports are used, its just the entire thing. if it wasn't such an absolute nightmare to undo my whole wired up desk again I would refund, for now I'm having to resort to aux sound, no more USB sound. for context, nothing has been added or wiring changed over the past few years, only this extension has changed, no audio cables are anywhere near power cables, all the usual good practices, while i can't comment on its life span or reliability just yet, I can at least warn about this- it may be a 'faulty' unit, but I fail to see how when everything is working, just internal wiring must be non shielded or properly banked.

I thought this was a litlte pricey when I first ordered for band use initially as it's better to have individually switched items so you don't have to keep unplugging lights - the addition of the usb ports just made it handy but since then I have bought another 3 - for home and business - if I am playing at a wedding, I can individually switch on everything, and guests can plug in to the 8 - 12 usb ports - amazing - I now use them everywhere. They are robust and weighty enough to not move about if cables get entwined and it has been WELL WORTH getting the 6 way - my only suggestion would be making the cable longer to maybe 5 meters so I don't have to extend for the front lights - I am recommending them to everyone in the hope that this brings the price down by a tenner as nearly £40 for a 6 way is steep even if it is incredibly useful!!
